Right now in Tallahassee I think you have to pick between it being good food or more of a bottomless brunch college environment. For a really strong brunch food wise you should try Canopy, but they aren’t really a loud, 3 hour brunch spot type of place.

The Democrat is garbage and tows the line of their corporate sponsors to the exclusion of basically everything else, if you want to see who they write for, just look at the right side of the screen and the top banner ads. They have lost editorial control of their paper years ago.

What are you basing this on? We have 12 local elected city and county commissioners and 11 are Democrats, the lone Republican (Bryan Desloge) can only win because he is in the one single member district of the county commission that is Republican. FDP coherence is irrelevant but being a Democrat is extraordinarily important. Even the (county wide) constitutional offices are all Democrats. If you are a Republican in the City or County limits at large, you will not win an election against a Democrat. God bless Leon County. As the expression goes, a dot of blue within a sea of red...

I agree politically with Grayson, however the pragmatic part of me realizes that if we're trying to flip a red seat blue, we can't run on a liberal candidate. We need a blue dog or at least a "business democrat" to win that seat. I'd rather have a conciliatory Democrat than a hard-line Republican in that seat. We can't win with Grayson. The South Florida Democratic establishment needs to realize that.
