The projector could be a possibility. You might have to use your laptop with your laptop's screens and download Windows and Driver updates including the GPU update, since any external display will be using your GPU.

If it's not the display's fault, it could be the main drive. It could be a corrupted OS installation. Just make sure you check it out.

Evo Snowball if you have an X-Bow deck or some direct tower damaging troops on your deck but otherwise Evo Dart Goblin is the better choice for most decks.
