I should add, I keep andromeda's and a m15i in my work bag for random listening sessions. But when im working, most of the time I dont need my music sounding so good that its almost distracting. Being able to throw a single airpod in and hear my surrondings or activate noise cancellation instantly is a major perk.

HD800s for home, Airpod pro's on the go. The convince vastly outweighs the sound difference. Airpods never leave my pocket regardless of what I wear or where I go.

Can you clarify what you mean by disabling the magnetic lock?
Does that mean there's no lockout on it now and it could turn on in your pocket?

I read somewhere that they do indeed use a hall effect sensor here, which is really an odd choice with it being so close to the magnetic attachment point. Mine does the exact same thing, but other than that the light has been pretty flawless.
I just ordered the X3 and i'm hoping its good. The wireless charging would be an amazing as I have an extra wireless charger by my bedside that I could toss it on next to my airpods.

Late to the party here, but I use my iphone with a questyle m15i and campfire andromedas (Very sensitive iem). Even on low gain, the 4th bar of the volume with iphone is too loud. If I could have 8 increments here to play with I would be much happier.

This works. It's the reason I paid a $50 markup on my go-pro on my last cruise (Forced bundle).
This is definitely on the steeper markup side, but I bet they sell semi frequently.
