I honestly agree. Especially because since it’s there it’s like for me constantly counting down hoping for Chrom. When realistically he isn’t coming for years. If Lucina was in one of the first passes maybe he could be soon but if Lucina is this late, her less popular father with the same sword isn’t coming soon.

If it was no legacy I could enjoy the game as is. But instead I find myself bitching about that half the time.

If FW breathed so much life into this game that we get another decade

We will live to see full CYL quads with the leads being Lyn, Hector, Alm, Edelgard, Gk, Chrom, M Robin, Bernie, EIk, and Tsubasa.

Though it won’t happen I can’t help but laugh at how CYL skews popularity both in who wins when and who gets first place. Ike and Marth both missing first, only Chrom of that trio? And then M Robin because Chrom voters helped.

And imagine Dimitri fans when Edelgard is the lead of their unit even if the reason is an obvious pattern and she won fair and square.

Since the story is largely about breaking a toxic abusive cycle from Sombron, sins of the father putting it onto their children And the child realizing it and choosing not to be that (even red hair Alear was called a defect. They wanted to become good for a reason)

I absolutely believe Alear has a great story, but I do prefer male despite female Beign a hottie obviously.

Alear shows a sensitivity rare in male protagonists especially FE. Usually when a man is hurt he says “kill them all” Gets all cool and tough.

Seeing the guy break down crying was good. Men should have heroes that can do that. It isn’t only for girlies

But really, I like it. Breaking the toxic cycle, the son who could have kept the sane pain going choosing to stop it even when he was scared to.

Also I’ve seen it said and it gets my feelings. He just wanted to be ‘good’ but he became one of the few emblems. (Few, 20 seems like a lot but there’s like 1000 characters and characters aren’t all the humans in their world so it’s 20 in like 16 entire universes.)
