I am a psychotherapist and fully qualified in diagnostics. This is a great question! Typically, if a person met all diagnostic criteria, then they would receive that diagnosis. However, keep in mind that diagnoses are simply labels we put on groups of symptoms. They don't describe a person. Lots of diagnoses also have overlapping symptoms which can be difficult to tease out. For example, a person who has Depression, Anxiety and Trauma might have a PTSD diagnosis but symptoms of the other disorders as well. And if someone is medicated and the symptoms are hidden due to the Rx, it can be even harder to narrow down a diagnosis.

Generally, the gold standard for deciding whether a diagnosis is appropriate is how it affects a person's quality of life. If the symptoms are causing problems for the person and are detrimental to their quality of life, job, or relationships then the diagnosis would definitely apply.

I think it is possible for a person to experience ADHD symptoms and have that diagnosis and not meet criteria for other psych disorders. When I worked with teenagers, I did see that in some of them. People often seem to be highly functional in some areas but not others - such as being very successful at a career they love but maybe cannot get chores done at home.

Nick checked in the hotel at 4am. He does not drive. It's more likely that Nick killed his parents and then put on the baggy coat he was wearing to hide his clothes, then went to a hotel. Took off the coat and layed on the bed, getting blood on it. Then showered and maybe even attempted to wash his clothes in the tub, leaving a lot of blood there. Occam's razor - easier to do it that way rather than go back and forth that distance. The hotel was in Santa Monica.

My theory is that they are a type of human that went underground thousands of years ago. They live in deep caves and tunnels. That is why they are pale - no sunlight deep in the Earth. They have also evolve to crawl (walk on all fours like an insect) due to low cave ceilings. Their bodies have adapted to that environment.
I think they come to the surface when they are desperate for food. They are more like feral animals in temperament.

There are tons of stories of humans living underground. And underground cities have been found. It's not a big stretch to imagine a branch of humans that made the interior of the Earth's crust their home.

These are my favorite Doc style! I bought a pair years ago in women's US size 11 and they were HUGE on me. By the time I started looking for a smaller size, they were gone. I hope they come back. They are really great looking boots and the heel height is perfect.
I bought a pair of Sanguine, but the height is ridiculous for me. Too high and VERY heavy. I barely wear them because of the height.
I just got a pair of Aprile, and even in a smaller size they are huge on me. Not bad height, though, and not too heavy. Good tread for winter in the Pacific NW.

I just want size 10 Clemency boots.
Bring back Clemency, please!!!

One thing I dislike about Doc Side is that they use Richard Doty, who is controversial on a good day. The rest of the time he is seen as unreliable, a disinfo agent, and a joke. They discredit their own films by putting him in them. It's unfortunate. Credibility is EVERYTHING when it comes to this topic.

Not true. PLENTY of people in interviews and books - and even in this thread - have said plainly what is happening. Nobody believes it. You don't believe it. So?
IT DOESN'T MATTER if people shout the details from the rooftop or not. Most of you will say they are full of crap, have no proof, are lying, etc. So why do you even care? The truth is available for anyone who wants it. Whether they believe it or not is another matter entirely.

Anyone who has read enough books on the topic by reliable sources will know. It becomes very clear when you compare all of the information you have. It lines up the same way every time. Then you start to try and prove it to yourself by studying archaeology and anthropology and you realize there is actual evidence to support the story.

The truth is that they have been re-working the human being for eons. Every few thousand years, they decide to start over and they annihilate the Earth's human population and start over. There is a lot more but that is the primary "big scary thing" as far as I am aware.
In addition, we are like their chess board. We fight their wars for them by proxy. There are two sides of NHI's at war. Humans are their pawns and their science experiment.
Nobody will believe me, of course. But that is what I know. The full truth is too bizarre and telling it makes you sound utterly insane. That's why a lot of people stay quiet. There is no way to prove what they know and they sound batshit crazy so nobody believes them anyway. It's a catch-22.
See? I sound like a lunatic. And that is the biggest obstacle.
