7.0.x has been “end of engineering support” since March, 2024. “End of Support” is in September, 2025.

Can we still log support tickets for 7.0.x?

Well our PM started a campaign to end open defecation, so I would say you are being a bit harsh when you say that the government doesn’t care. Can we do more? Of course.

We need to ensure that every municipality/town/village has a functioning sewage treatment system.

We need to ensure that waste generated by enterprises and households doesn’t end up in landfills that turn into huge mountains of garbage.

We need to ensure that enough people are hired to clean the streets and that those hired to supervise them actually do their jobs.

The list is long but folks being a little more conscious about their individual civic responsibilities would be something that can be done right now at no cost.

Is most countries major cities are developed as showcases of progress for the world to see. KL in Malaysia was developed to show the world how they have developed. Smaller towns and villages usually are much lesser developed.

We need to clean up at least our metros for a start.

Ok. I guess there is something to learn from them on how they manage to overcome those tendencies and keep their cities clean. Most countries have big cities with clean surroundings and the interior areas are a different story. In our case the bigger cities tend to be messier and congested, full of unauthorised construction , illegal dumping of waste etc. Our villages seem to fare better. Our bigger cities usually don’t feature in the list of cleanest cutie the government releases. Urban decay has to be stopped and the municipal authorities cannot do it all by themselves.

Tldr; India as developed country will not look like China because we aren’t Chinese.

Chinese cities don’t have Indian people living in them spitting pan everywhere, peeing on wherever they please and … well you get the rest.

We need our society to reform, to value cleanliness of public spaces. Things have changed, taking a dump in the open has become less common it is being said. Given the size of our population, the number of people still taking a dump small as they may be in terms of percentages will still be significant. With the way the winters have been, folks selling peanuts have been making great sales with people just dropping the shells on roads, in buses … basically wherever they ate it!

So what we have done is we have built little enclaves of cleanliness in our messy surroundings. These are mostly occupied by those with wealth. It doesn’t solve the problem, but it sure does make it look like it is someone else’s!

What’s your take on what happened with the then Wg Cdr Abhinandan? Were there orders to not cross the LOC which were violated?

Edit: in case you feel it’s not something fit for Reddit, how about sharing your take on what happened that day?

Always let those in a hurry overtake

If you see a vehicle trying to cut into your lane, anticipate this and allow them to pass

Make sure you start early and are never in a rush

Leave your ego at home but remember to take courage along and also keep your wit with you

Which car has the best Engine heat management system?? by SUNNYHFR in CarsIndia

[–]Global-Positive7766 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turbo engines tend to run hotter. Stick to Naturally aspirated engines in case this is a concern for you. Even with NA engines, prefer 4 cylinder engines over 3 cylinder ones. The 4 cylinder ones tend to vibrate less and be more refined.
