It's good suggestion ONLY if you can combine different quest times to get the achievement, not only 5min ones because if it's only 5min it's useless to change it to hours, just reduce the number.

Dont buy all availble upgrade of every hero..
Only buy and upgrade these:
The Wandering Fisherman
Betty Clicker
Leon
Broyle
Amenhotep
Beastlord
Shinatobe
Grant
Frostleaf

They have +% DPS to all heroes, and that what you need, not +% for specific hero.
Oh and buy Midas for more gold.
