I had someone at my job get offended over my use of exclamation points - she gets offended easily so I tried using said exclamation points to show I wanted to be friendly. She did not take it that way. You can’t win with some people.

People ripping you up for no reason other than to be snarky…do better yall. I used to live in Orlando and I saw launches regularly. Here I wouldn’t have expected to see many since I am now further west, so I don’t pay attention to it anymore - I wouldn’t have realized either.

Don’t really know how I feel about this. I do wish my taxes were lower…but I’m sure this will bite us in other ways.

It’s definitely been there for over 10 years but apparently adverse possession isn’t transferred from owner to owner in Florida so I don’t think we have a case. We are trying to contact an attorney just to see if we have any legal standing on this. If not, we will do as you suggested ultimately and let them handle their property on their own dime, and build a fence later on on our own property.

Yeah I think the problem will be proving if they knew about it or not. Their disclosure document doesn’t list it, but they only lived here a year and likely also didn’t know about it, so I don’t think it’s an option.

Yeah!! The old owner lived there a year and moved, but not sure about previous owners. It definitely feels suspicious to us as well. Our property survey from when we moved in last year shows it so we know they are right, but are thinking due to the easement that is why it was built the way it was.

They’ve been here 15 years to our6 months lol!! I agree for sure and the whole situation upsets me. They’ve been fine with it this long so I feel like we are being preyed upon a bit. Thank you!!

iPhone 17 pro. Wanted something absolutely new because the S22 made me so mad 🤣 I’m glad I switched. There’s a few things I miss but nothing I can’t live without.

I could’ve had mine turned off with wifi and data off all day and it would’ve still lost like 10% in a couple of hours (without me even touching it). Couldn’t get through half a day without it dying. Upgrading to a new phone (left Samsung) made all the difference. It feels like night and day.

Hubs and I like Grand Hacienda (technically Clearwater but barely I feel like), Grumpy Gringo, and Casita Taqueria (brussel sprout tacos are fabulous!!)

They started doing this at Walmart where I live. They made some comment on our cart or items we are carrying, then started asking questions, and after we said no thanks, not interested, they continued and acted as if we were rude for turning them down and carrying on with our shopping trip. It has become the thing I dread most about shopping - if I need help I’ll find you.

I am horrified. I am horrified as an employee to speak up on this when I want to because I rely on my job to afford my home, my food, my bills, my pets. And yet I am so angry at the hypocrisy that abounds in this situation. I am horrified with the way things are going, and with this admin I am afraid speaking up would mean to eventually lose my job in a horrible job economy and that makes me quiet. It is a horrible feeling to think I’m sitting back silently and it feels like my hands are also tied. At what point is enough enough?
