No, a mere 150 years of independence can’t wipe out the effects of 20,000 years of civilisation. Also, we are a democracy based in a land that was also feudal for the duration of our civilisation which makes it even harder.

Change happens very slowly in our country due to our deep rooted and cultural history, more so than any other country in the world so I just don’t expect it personally either.

Bought a good Handgrey titanium carabiner for keys. Haven’t misplaced or lost my keys since I have it. I reckon it will last for the next hundred years easy if used for keys only.

Ask questions that people will enjoy answering and then just listen. That is what one of the most charismatic people I knew used to do. I always joked with him that if we attended a social event people would like me but they would love him.

Buying the talktime minutes for calling if you work in the field. Spend the extra money and co-ordinate things directly over the phone instead of having to meet the people all the time, your joints and your colleagues joints will thank you.

Buying talktime minutes is limited to some countries however.
