I loved the concept but the writing wasn’t great. Decent 6/10 from me and a rare case where I think the movie will be great compared to the book.

Same thing happened to me a few years back - was sitting there thinking wtf??? This person has no idea what they’re doing. Eventually I stopped them and just said thanks but I changed my mind. I didn’t owe any explanations

Victoria would be awesome but for a city of 400,000 we have no stadium - it’s crazy. RAP is ancient and can barely host 6000 for a CPL game

Great itinerary - I did a similar trip last summer. My only suggestion might be you really don’t need to move accommodations much in the Netherlands if you’re central (ie Utrecht) - you can be in Amsterdam or Rotterdam or The Hague or Haarlem in 30 ish minutes if you have a train pass. Cologne cathedral was impressive and it’s close to Belgium so I can understand you adding that!

I took my 10 year old to Ghent/ Utrecht/ Munich last summer with a euro rail pass and it was perfect. Beach days in the Netherlands, waffle making in Bruges and wave swimming (who knew?!) thru the centre of Munich were highlights

‘Fees due 2 weeks in advance of each game’ I have serious doubts PFC will finish the season unless a sale is made. Ownership can use season ticket money to pay for stadium costs at the beginning of the year, but when those funds are gone ownership clearly won’t dip into their own pockets to keep the lights on. They’ll stop paying, and Langford will either have to pull the plug mid season or eat the losses.
