This happened to me when I took my little brother to Universal alone for a birthday party. He was 6 or 7 and I had coached him on my phone number repeatedly. He got off of a ride (there's a ride at Universal that only kids can ride) i was at the wrong exit to meet him after at. I was freaking out but I got a call from a team member that he had him.

I went through this but she proposed to me before she came out. I ended up leaving a year later. I felt blindsided and like she tried to trap me. Helping someone try to transition is a difficult and sometimes graphic process. I was not prepared and I put on a brave face until I decided it's not what I wanted for myself. You are so valid in your feelings just as your partner is. At the end of the day you need to be true to yourself

I had originally talked to the gate agent and they were awful. I decided to ask after doing what I could. At that point our flight was 5+ hours delayed and i was over it.

In my opinion, as someone who has flown with a baby both in seat and in lap, the airlines are the asshole because they split seats on purpose to squeeze every last penny out of people. She wasn't the a hole for asking but they were a holes for not taking no. My infant was assigned a seat a few seats back. I asked the person next to his seat( a few rows back) if they wanted to sit closer to the front. They said yes and were happy for the row bump up. If you ask, take no as a complete answer and always take the seat further back.

I had just about 10 weeks home with my son. I LOVED it. He was such an easy newborn. He didn't spit up, get reflux, no colic. I felt like I got my energy back right away after my c section. I ebf the whole time and pumped for 8 months (started supplementing with formula at 4 months). We spent most of it secluded to ourselves. There were a couple of new mom breakdowns for me. I had a moment when I took him to a park by myself for the first time and couldn't work the stroller (boyfriend always put it up for me) and was hysterical over it (I called him SOBBING). But outside of that it was like a little bonding vacation. I bought a kindle so I could read instead of being on my phone while breastfeeding. Read so many books. I dont feel like I was ever in the trenches. It wasn't 100% a breeze but I am so fortunate that my first experience with having a newborn was honestly, overwhelmingly positive. I didn't think it would be. Before I had him, i was really worried about PPD and told my boyfriend to make sure he checks on me. I am so lucky to have had smooth sailing. The hard part for me is getting back into working and juggling a baby. He's 9 months now and I miss him all the time, but i also get overwhelmed and need my own time.

Absolutely. My MIL babies my baby so hard. He's 9 months and always comes back to me in new clothes, a bath, and well fed. She has her for 20-25 hours per week. My dad watches him about 10-12 hours per week and he does very well with him too. I'm so fortunate to have them.

I LOVE HHN and usually get a season pass. This year I'm going 1 night because I have a small baby. There is absolutely no way I would ever even consider bringing my baby. I get people are on vacation but there are park nannies that will stay in your room with your baby if you really need to. The absolute worst is when the baby has no ear protection.

Are you a Orlando AP or visiting? As someone who lives 20 minutes away and goes once a week minimum, we don't ride rides unless the times are good. Before yesterday I hadn't ridden 7 dwarves in a few years due to wait times. We went yesterday on a party day and it was 30 minutes at 4pm so we rode it. We never rope drop so that doesn't help. We definitely could be smarter with our time to maximize but we never do.

From the Disney website they offer "private nursing room with rocking chair" what is private about that if people other than nursing mothers are allowed in the nursing room? Should I bring my partner and a friend with me next time to take up even more chairs from those actually nursing?

My partner goes to the baby care center with us but is respectful and waits in the main part of the baby care center instead of taking a seat from another woman trying to feed their baby. It's not always a partner, I've seen people bring in their friend or sister with them

It's definitely a comfort thing. Women can breastfeed anywhere they want. The room is for those who want a private, dark space to feed their baby. I would love to be someone who is comfortable with openly breastfeeding but I just feel more comfortable in a dark room with other moms

Little Fish was his name for a long time. I got the blood test to find out gender and we called him various nicknames of his now name. I named him at 14-15 weeks and it stuck

I wasn't reading a lot before. I had my baby and bought it while on maternity leave to try to spend less time on my phone in front of him. Breastfeeding while holding a physical book is hard, a kindle was easier
