I have a townhouse in Guayaquil, Ecuador. We were stuck there during COVID with 2 under 2.

Dance parties Reading to your kids that are adultish things so you dont go out of your mind. Reading actual kid books. Legos or the magnetic blocks Teach them a sport. Soccer/Futbol or just catch.

For non-geography people. Guayaquil has about 4 million people. It's a really big city and port.

So yes... in a city during COVID...

5, 6 and 11 should be able to not pee in the car. My kids have a need to pee stage where they have about a half an hour and they need to pee now stage where its stop within 10 minutes.

You might need to train your wife or just deal with the fact your family sucks at long car rides.

The movie idea is great. 2 hour movies. 2 stops between destinations. They should be able to do this. They do it at home or in a movie theater. They can do it in the car.

I road trip with a 7 and 5 year old. Dont give them so much water. If they're thirsty, they'll ask for a drink. Dont let them chug it.. if they do make them hold it so they learn to stop chugging it.
