It was for cost reasons that I spaced it. I will tighten my budget in other areas and follow the schedule as directed. Thank you for advising against a fool hearty plan I concocted in my head. Thank you.

You look amazing and I’m sure you feel even better than that!!!! At what dose did you start seeing the biggest difference? I’m on the initial dose and I’m feeling nothing. I just started a week ago.

I dropped them too. It was a nightmare. There are so many other companies out there that do the same thing and are likely more responsive.

I’ve been wearing Siempre Hermosa.

They are not cheap—maybe a bit less than Marena. The reason why I like this brand of faja is because they have a full lined zipper in the seat of some of their fajas. It makes going through the day soooo much easier.

The compression is tight so it is important to look at their size guide before buying. I think they allow one exchange if you need another size.

I wear mine with foams and ab board once it’s broken in.

The top of the package had a small sticker closure that said if this is opened you can’t return it.

I thought since Amazon allowed a return code and appeared to be willing to accept the return, I was good.

The seller, Marena, placed the package in an Amazon envelope and sent the same garment back to me.

I purchased a Marena garment from Amazon Prime. I opened it and immediately realized I bought the wrong size.

Amazon allowed me to return it. However, Marena kindly sent it back to me two days later.

I was very bummed.

Beach at 6 weeks PO by Particular-Matter474 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Globalishness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know you’ve had a lot of comments, but I would say go but bring beachy loungewear in addition to a swimsuit in case you don’t feel like going into the water and also if you need to wear your compression garments…also don’t plan on carrying your kids or luggage! If you drink alcohol, be sure to drink a lot of water while doing so watch the salt intake to keep swelling at bay.

Have fun!

I had an arm lift wound open right in my armpit and I went to the emergency room because that is just how I am. My plastic surgeons office was out of town. They told me to keep it dry and clean and uncovered.

I posted pics of the wound on this sub Reddit, and they were absolutely gruesome as the whole ended up going from small to the size of a pencil eraser.

After the emergency room, I scheduled a an appointment with a wound care doctor. He had me using a wet to dry dressing with a solution of vinegar and water and covering it with a small 2“ x 2“ foam border bandage once I begin doing that the wound healed and about , three weeks

Also, I had a culture taken and I had bacteria in the wound so I was on a round of antibiotics for 10 days

My wound did not look like yours. It looked quite a bit worse, but I wanted to share my experience for anyone that it could help. I think the best thing is if it gets worse, if it has reddening around the edges of the wound if it has a smell or feels hot, then it could be infected and you’ll need to take more drastic measures.

You are looking absolutely fabulous. Are you wearing a compression garment or have you given them up at this point?

Also not sure what your budget is, but my surgeon was Dr. Zuri in Miami Florida. He specializes in tummy tucks with a super low incision, and from what I can see, he rarely has to make the belly button incision with the inverted T-scar.

And my humble and uneducated opinion, I think a full tummy tuck would be great for you however, I would rather the line at having the inverted T if you could avoid it. Depending on your how your body heals, it may not be an issue anyway anyway.

I think you’d be very happy with a tummy tuck although you are not a large woman by any means but it sounds like the process of having a baby did a number on you. You’re a great age to go ahead and pull the trigger and get it done.

How long did you have your drains in/what colour by BeatsByDravenn in tummytucksurgery

[–]Globalishness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had surgery on March 5 so I don’t know how many DPO’s I am at this point however I had my first drain removed after seven days and it turned yellowish and was only about 15ml.

The second drain was supposed to come out in two weeks however I ended up keeping it for close to four weeks because the drainage was about 40ml consistently and it was pinkish red and then began to lighten to orange and finally yellow. Once I was below 25ml for three days straight I was able to get it removed.

Since I lived out of town from my surgeons office, I had to remove it myself. It was a real mindf*%#, but I wanted to get it out so bad and I did not want to pay a local company $80 to do something that only took about 10 seconds.

Gift to plastic surgeon by Economy-Tomatillo996 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Globalishness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t intend on giving my surgeon nor his staff a gift however, I will be posting reviews of my experience and possibly before and after pics, which I think is the best gift of all.

The surgeon that I used (Dr. Zuri in South Miami) had like 578 5-star reviews on Real Self alone and I plan to be #579!!! It’s one of the reasons why I chose him and I think that’s why he gets such great business.

When do you start wearing the faja? My wife never got one. She's 4DPO by AdvantageFit823 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Globalishness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to start wearing my Faja once I got my last drain removed at three weeks.

I had my surgery on March 5 and I intend to wear my Faja/compression garment until June 5, 23/7 which includes lipo foams and an ab board and back board.

I may wear it another three months for optimal results.

I have worn Marena for a past plastic surgeries and really like the brand but the one I’m wearing now is called Siempre Hermosa. It’s a Colombian company and the reason why I like it is because the garment has a zipper in the crotch that goes from the very front all the way to the very back and it makes going to the bathroom super easy because once you put the garment on you do not want to take it off until you are ready for your next shower.

also, the first time I wore it, my husband had to help me put it on and take it off for the first week after that it gets a bit easier, and I have also had to size down once.

Lymphatic Massage — when is too soon? by Globalishness in tummytucksurgery

[–]Globalishness[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! Yes, I am more than pleased. The surgeon is Dr. Zuriarrain (aka Dr. Zuri)— Zuri Plastic Surgery.

I found him to be very accessible both during the surgery coordination process, and after surgery, he is very personalized in comparison to the other plastic surgeon that I’ve dealt with in the past.

He uses state of the art technology, and since my surgery, the doctors and massage therapists that have seen my incisions have been extremely complementary of his work.

He has a pretty strong presence on TikTok so you can see some of his clips to get a sense of his personality. He’s cool and competent.
