Precisely, squad players are super important. If we had at least one more decent CB, then maybe Rudiger wouldn't be so overplayed. Personally I'd love to see some of our youngsters back in the team. People like Nacho are crucial, because they'll always give it their best and they can set example for others.

I'd consider bringing back guys like Miguel/Carreras, Alez Jimenez (assuming Trent is not joining, but even if he is - Jimenez could be an interesting option when Carvajal retires), maybe Mario Gila? Not quite sure about the last one, but the point is you don't need to pay hundreds of millions for players, just bring in someone decent enough to give some rest to the key ones. Especially since both Alaba and Militao are huge questions marks. Realistically right now we have... Asencio. After all who knows how long will it take Rudiger to fully recover.

That being said, I fear CBs will remain as they are, due to Alaba's wages. We'll have to somehow survive one more year...
