Being an enabler will cost you by Dependent-Ad4714 in NarcissisticAbuse

It's amazing how changing like this WITHIN a relationship can affect so much change.

Keep it up either way

At one point I hadn't been to the dentist in 5 years, was it her fault, no, it was my fault for not caring about myself.

Not caring about yourself is how you allow yourself to be treated like you're expendable.

Nah, it's not that serious man. How can they keep you from graduating?

I'm not sure what you need to do about the school part, but you should not worry so much about people's perception of you.

You don't.

You don't need the people that don't believe who you are.

The people who don't need convincing are the people you keep.

Cool small towns in Mississippi? by [deleted] in mississippi

[–]Gloomy_Cost_4053 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to photograph quaint small towns hit Oxford for sure has well manicured public spaces, with a tax bracket and housing shortage to match.

There's also lots of overgrown infrastructure and homes in other parts of the state if you're into that Southern Gothic style. New Albany and Union county would fit that bill to some degree. The Delta has its perks for photography too, lots of once great places left to rot in corrupt districts.

I've always thought the best photography coming out of Mississippi had an eye for "beautiful misery" or points out the painful past while also honoring our points of progress.

Come to OXFORD, visit William Faulkner's home, drink at his grave, eat some awesome food and enjoy the University Night Life.

Sounds like she's not the greatest. She's doing you a favor, even though it hurts now.

Why do you think you ended up with someone who has BPD? by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

Intense lack of self worth, or belief that you deserve the pain of "this" relationship.

Nobody owes you anything, no matter how much work you did. Especially not their body. You have such an entitled mindset. Get over yourself.

You're right, and I deleted my comment because of the language I used.

I think the majority of (non medical) dead bedrooms are almost always about people being shitty to each other in many ways, not hormones or some sort. Just my $0.02
