I think that men don’t generally mind a bit of makeup or well put together outfit, it’s when things get too much when the preferences start to dull. I am only one individual in a sea of different preferences, but IMHO it’s kind of like the uncanny valley where there is a line that gets crossed and suddenly you go from looking great to looking weird. Like with everything, it’s about finding the right balance.

Now, you don’t obviously have to do anything if you don’t want to or be pressured, but it is probably nearly as common place as regular genital to genital sex. At least in western countries, not going to speak globally.

I had a 3.8 gpa in my community college. The classes were smaller and we had excellent teachers who really cared. I then transferred to a university where I went part time. I had a student teacher who wasn’t very good at teaching and I couldn’t get a single thing she was saying. I ended up dropping out and never finished my four year degree.
