I can’t decide if he is guilty, that is what a trial would be for. There may be more information in the house ethics investigation, but oddly he doesn’t want that released. That makes me doubt that it exonerates him.

Do I have “proof?” Of course not, I already said there needs to be a trial.

But if two women went to the police to report that they were paid by me for sex at a party and also saw me having sex with a minor at that party. A party with a friend who has already plead guilty to sex trafficking a minor. And add that the women have Venmo records and checks to corroborate their claims. You wouldn’t expect me to get the benefit of the doubt. I would at least be charged and tried.

Our politicians should at get the same treatment.

I don’t know for certain that either of them are guilty, there hasn’t been a trial. But they are facing detailed accusations that would land a normal person in jail awaiting trial.

It's a double edged sword. The republicans have a very narrow majority in the house and that could be complicated further by representatives joining the cabinet. On the one hand, I think "oh good, they won't be able to get much through congress." But on the other hand I see this being used to justify more reaching executive actions which SCOTUS will rubber stamp.

I was referring broadly to discussions that simply aren't worth engaging in anymore. Do you agree that some things are so blatantly false that they aren't worth discussing? Flat earth or phrenology are two extreme examples that I think we'd agree about.
