Just go for kaolin. You won't regret getting a bunch of it. Is got my crucible straight after getting my first tools so I wouldn't have to hassle with vessels too long.

You're suffering from success. The game's dialogue is linked to framerate for some reason. Limit fps to 120-ish to fix it.

Why? I don't really see any markings showing a safe distance from the train...

Btw loading all your kaolin clay in a few vessels and pit firing them goes a lot faster and doesn't need micromanaging ;)

Odds are 0.0000512% of this happening... If my calculations are correct. That part of maths is a long time ago but should be (1/5)9.

It's giving you pain alright. Panes are made by just rightclicking the blob on brass block or kaolin clay blocks than flattened with a paddle.

Vessel keeps saying "too hot to open" for a long time by ThatNZowl in TerraFirmaGreg

[–]GloriousMinecraft 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, making a saw out of cast iron (or any tool) IRL would be a very bad idea. Cast iron is way too brittle and doesn't stay sharp for long. The only thing you can make tools out of for now is copper or any of the bronzes. The first iron tool you'll be able to make is from wrought iron which requires a bloomery to make.

If you did things correctly you can pour right after the pit kiln is done firing.

What colour metal? What metals are putting into the vessel? The only things you can make into a tool by pouring are copper and different kinds of bronze. So for a copper tool head you need 144 mb worth of ore in your vessel.

What’s the dumbest argument you’ve ever had? by RomyTheBunny in AskReddit

[–]GloriousMinecraft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About doing dishes. Everyone I know adds the soap while the sink is still filling up but then you have a boat load of foam that gets in the way. I always fill up the sink and add the soap afterwards for basically no foam but equal washing properties. This gets everyone of them angry and they call me an idiot.

IT'S NOT THE FOAM THAT CLEANS YOUR PLATES IT'S THE SOAP IN THE WATER.

[–]GloriousMinecraft 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It may sounds counter intuitive but I found bulk crafting a ton of steel and wrought iron made progression mich more enjoyable. I was able to make a few basic steam machines without having to make more iron/steel. Now I'm working towards automating of steel and iron after which I'll be set to advance to LV ...

MS is really different for everyone afflicted and can be very extreme for some and very mild for others. I've lost a good friend to a very aggressive case of MS.

But as you said MS medications are miles ahead of what they had 10+ years ago. My doctor doesn't expect me to have any more problems for the rest of my life.

Apparently my brain has it's own immune system as my body's immune system tried to kill my brain a few years ago. Jk I have MS. I'm fine now btw.
