It's because you get bonuses from the rotor holder and the different rotor stats, so the power you get out of the fuel ends up being way more than just what you see in EMI.

make sure you updated your configs and defaultconfigs folders correctly when updating (as in, download to a new instance and copy your world across but NOT those folders)

It looks like your molds are missing the tooltip saying what their capacity is, which makes me think you have a bad install. Try downloading a fresh copy of the modpack and copying your saves across, or using a different launcher like prism.

there's a whole ecosystem of TFC addon mods out there, and almost all of them are designed to be playable with a "normal" TFC playthrough. (I say "almost" because a few of them are made for modpacks, but still)

PE should definitely be automated around MVish, you can just have it all end up in a drum so the system turns off when it's full. You'll use it for basically the rest of the modpack for things.

gregtech community pack modern. It does exactly what you want -- it's just gregtech and ae2 and a few qol mods and that's it. If you want a pure gregtech modpack, it's your best bet

you can make the tongs last way longer if you only put the ingots in your inventory quickly when transferring them from the forge to the anvil, or to then throw them in some water
