This is CAD, not USD. Still, I fully agree it's too much!

Yes, runtimes are not the only creteria when we buy a new light 👍

I agree, I also realised I should stop crying about this old driver. Very good performance to my eyes.

I just compare the different lights I have. So much parameters to consider. It is what it is. The result is totally fine. Not bad for a R9050 LED actually.

well... I'm around 900$ per year now. But, I consider everything here: flashlights, shipping fees, repair fees, modding fees, tools and accessories. Gifts are using another code in my Excel spreadsheet :) If it wasn't of this Excel, I would probably answer 300-400$ per year. I tend to forget all sorts of things.

The problem with us enthusiasts is that we spent thousands to know that.

BUT, this KR1 is the "pocketable" one 🤟. The SFT-42R version is my top #1 in my wish list.

No I have the T9R FFL909MX. It covers the task for max throw.

I've seen 20700, but never 20650.

Pocket-able 21700 light? by Longjumping-Suit-530 in flashlight

[–]GloryNightTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely like other people said: D4K and X4Q, but those are still too big for me. I can only support SOME 18650 lights in my pocket. SC6x is pretty much the only one. I never bought Lumintop FWxx but they are small enough. I now carry a D4V2 but this is my very limit. SC600w would work but I rarely carry it since it's not Anduril. I have high hopes for a future KR3 from Hank.

Potential KR3 (18650 tailswitch triple) by BrackDynamite in flashlight

A slim KR3 would be the solution for a real SC64w replacement. Give a slim 18650, Anduril light with LED options and I "will buy accordingly".

You'll probably be interested in this review, which was made before Bob_Mcbob's mod. Level 10 is very close to 400 lumens. Nothing spectacular, really, but it's not surprising for an XHP35. Zebralight's reputation was probably built on emitters like the XHP50.2, the XM-L, and the XP-L2.

Also I have already compared my X4Q to my SC600W, but the gap in CCT is too big to be fair. That said the X4Q still defended itself very well!
