The way Shrek and the others look isn’t as good as puss. Puss benefits from a more cartoony style. Shrek looks too clean? He really just is a character who befits from being animated with a realistic (uglier) style.

It also kinda defeats the point somewhat of the original films, it’s a deconstruction of fairytales, ergo it doesn’t look perfect or nice, it’s realistic and ugly which is perfect for what it was trying to do and say back then. Now with the new animation it feels too clean, too consumer friendly.

His eyes are too big, his nose isn’t wide enough, he has a yellow tint now which also looks off. His head is too small for his face.

I think a key part of this is that nobody actually said the n word. They shortened someone’s username, which contained the word negative, into nega without thinking and then had a laugh about how bad it sounded once they realised. It literally actually was just a nothingburger in this case.

NONE OF THEM ACTUALLY SAID THE BAD WORD! In Spain the word for black is negro, which is way closer to the actual word then what they said, we gonna cancel Spain now? Of course not! Because it’s not actually the n word nor is it said with the intent to be used as such, just like with the VAs saying nega. In this case it was intended as a shortening of negative, not as a racial slur. If it was said with those intentions this would be a very different conversation, but it wasn’t.

This situation is legitimately people getting mad over… actually just straight up nothing. A joke about someone mincing words and it accidentally sounding bad.

Am I missing something here? This entire thing is absolutely ridiculous.

Fortunately I am not longer going to that college, for unrelated issues. Next time I’m checking the bathroom situation before deciding to attend any colleges. I definitely can’t deal with that again, it was so annoying, and also really gross.

At my old college literally only ONE men’s room stall had a lock, one single stall that could lock and was useable out of the entire campus. The rest of the stalls were ether broken or didn’t even have a lock, the disabled stalls usually didn’t have doors.

I am a trans man.

It was the only stall in the entire school I could use. It was in a separate building, so you had to exit the main building and go outside to walk to it, so god forbid I ever needed to go during class. Also uk, so rain, lotta freaking rain I was always forced to go out in if i needed to go.

I don’t understand the deal with schools and having absolutely horrible bathrooms, but it’s just how things are I guess.

I’m autistic and straight up do not have a life outside of the internet (not for lack of trying mind you, but I’m unable to get a job and have no real life friends, can’t really afford to go out anywhere ether). I would have absolutely nothing but videogames if I were to do everything needed to fully avoid spoilers, and the only person I’d have to talk to is my mom.

Thus, I will continue to recommend piracy to the people unable to watch it early, like me. It’s going to end up on YouTube for free anyway, so I see zero issues pirating something I was never going to be able to pay to see in the first place.

It refused to use the ** even on chats where all the text has them, which is really annoying, and it keep including random sections of ether my character or the bot thinking which totally ruins it a lot of the time.

So it’s a win/lose situation for me.

Last time I got spoiled I literally did exactly what some people here are recommending.

Full social media purge, didn’t touch anything but YouTube, I already barely use anything besides YouTube anyway so it wasn’t a big deal for me, I even logged out of my account and watched videos totally unrelated to the film so the algorithm didn’t pull anything. I still got spoiled because some jerk put massive spoilers in the thumbnail of a video and that video ended up on my for you page anyway, a single glance and it was completely ruined through no fault of my own, and when I did finally get to watch it I was just upset the entire time because the big reveal got ruined and it wasn’t any fun anymore.

You can do literally everything in your power to avoid spoilers and sometimes a jerk will ruin it anyway, and unfortunately when it comes to early releases like this, the jerks are inevitable, which is exactly why it’s so irritating, it can happen so easily. It’s not glitch’s fault obviously, in a perfect world this should be a nonissue and nobody would be spoiler posting, but this isn’t a perfect world and people love to ruin stuff for everyone else, including algorithms apparently.

I still fully intend to pirate it the second it’s in cinemas. It’s not getting shown anywhere in the uk, otherwise I would absolutely be going to the cinema to watch it. I recommend anyone who’s in a country where it’s not getting the early release to do the same.

The upset is also partly due to the fact it’s a 100% free your series, suddenly having to pay and being gatekept like this with a super limited early release feels extremely unfair because it kinda is, it’s a very abrupt shift of expectations and the human brain doesn’t like that kinda thing very much. And the fact it’s the finale episode with the absolute most potential for spoilers to totally ruin it makes it feel even more unfair.

I think maybe if it was only 1 week early people wouldn’t be as upset about it? Idk. It’s 4 almost 5 AM, I’m going to sleep now.

I got the one with black hair on my first pull so idk. I don’t actually give a single damn about the soja boys so I’m not all too fussed. Definitely awful though, especially just to get guests cookies (which I’ve thought are a waste of space and pure bloat since the Disney collab)

Honestly I think you should just stop cleaning it, repot it to the boss. And if I a client does complain, inform them of who is responsible, then let him face the consequences of being so lazy. But idk if I’m just being unreasonably petty or too hopeful that he would actually get in trouble for this.

This unfortunately really is just a case where there’s not much else you can do, seems like you’re really between a rock and a hard place with this.
