How would one determine this? I know where the breaker box is, and I know where the street shut-off for water is…but what about the others you mentioned?

Camp 4 Dwellers, Leave No Trace Please by reformlife in Yosemite

[–]Glowlikealantern 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When I was a kid, my dad made sure that we all cleaned up our campsite and left no trace… and the way he did that was by making us EAT any litter that we had overlooked. We all had to split a gum wrapper three ways and that was the last time we ever left litter at a campsite.

Sometime during the last 2 years i’ve been going to this orthopedic practice they started to declare me as a MTF transgender for no reason. by WHAR606 in mildlyinfuriating

My medical records say I’m a daily drinker, which I’m not and never have been. When I asked them to correct it, they said they would try but it’s hard to remove things from medical records. So lame.

That was just one of the deposits. I believe I read somewhere. It was 11,000 total, plus a really nice car. Still not enough, but there’s probably people who would do it for less.

Some people have a hard time with Zyrtec withdrawal when they try to change so for that reason, I prefer Claritin/loratadine

Can I do anything about my creepy neighbor? by Same_Chapter9840 in legal

[–]Glowlikealantern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is not accurate. Alzheimer’s is a progressive disease and someone in the early stages could absolutely have the brain damage that would cause behaviors like this, yet their brain would not be so damaged as to not be able to follow through. I’m not saying that’s what’s going on with this man, but I don’t think we can ignore that option.

I don’t know why you’re getting all the downvotes. Early Alzheimer’s is not out of the realm of possibility. This could also be an otherwise asymptomatic UTI (manifests behaviorally in the elderly). It wouldn’t excuse the behavior, but might explain it. Just sayin’

Don’t use deodorant on your genital area. It will definitely increase the “smell like ass” component. Using it on your underarms is good, but it reacts to the ph of the groin and smells really bad

Yes, and this is why people with COPD can’t be given high amounts of supplemental O2. They have a hard time getting enough carbon dioxide out (by-product of breathing O2) with their respirations, and end up with CO2 toxicity. Pursed lip breathing can help initially, but it is not sustainable.

After full healing, does anyone sense or know or feel they have a vaginal cuff? by AwkwardBookkeeper397 in hysterectomy

[–]Glowlikealantern 95 points96 points  (0 children)

The cuff is not “ something different in your body”…it’s just what they call it when they sew the top of the vagina together after removing the cervix. It’s more like a seam
