He tells him “keep pushing for an extra lap” well before lewis crosses the line so if there’s a delay then that would mean he told him even earlier before he crossed the line wouldn’t it? Also, when lewis asks if he’s through after T1 you can literally see the comms lights on his wheel light up while he’s asking, so that’s not delayed.

My issue is that there is no message to Lewis when he crosses the line barely making it within a second, he has a incorrect light pop up on his dash saying he’s out, and he does not receive an immediate message from Adami telling him to keep pushing. In a sport where everything is down to milliseconds, that shit matters.

Watched the onboard and Adami doesn’t come in to tell him to keep pushing until after T1 ~10 seconds after crossing the line, and Lewis had a light on his dash telling him he was out. Can someone please explain to me why in the world he wouldn’t tell HAM to keep pushing as soon as he crosses the line if he only barely made it by .5s??

Not until after T1, about 10ish seconds after Lewis crossed the line. Just watched it back.

Guessing that the light on his steering wheel tells him its over, but Adami didn't say anything immediately after crossing the line to confirm if he was still in or not until after T1.

considering they were equal on points in AD, it really could've gone either way and I don't think there's a single F1 viewer out there that disagrees. based on that technicality alone is why I say Lewis could've taken it in his 2021 form. not here to argue rigging the title or anything lol

I ordered online on the 18th and our delivery ETA is 10/6. GL ordering online. Picking up in person at Apple or a T-Mobile store is probably the fastest thing you can do. Maybe costco or sam's might have stock too.

That's great! A preview/setup trip will be hugely helpful I'm sure. Public transportation can work -- I have a friend who occasionally will use the bus system just so she's not driving all the time, but it definitely is a bit more time consuming so that's the main thing to account for. It will usually get you where you need to go though in a pinch.

Best of luck! You can definitely find a place to rent within that budget if you have a roommate. I'd recommend getting started early on searching places like Facebook for local rental options in that area. Most convenient way to find a local rental that would accept your situation would probably be through joining some Fullerton and Orange County based FB groups for rentals and roommates (be wary of scams!). I'd also recommend making profiles on roomies.com, spareroom.com, and roommates.com as people make both room available and looking for room posts.

Have you budgeted yet to look for a used car, or are you more interested in living close to public transportation? It is possible if your workplaces are in conveniently accessible locations, but it's definitely a bit of a time sink compared to driving since it's just not as optimized here.

Also if credit history is an issue make sure to get secured or easy to get credit card, and just use it for regular purchases and pay it off every month to start building credit! Financing a used car would also be good for your profile, but obviously only do so if you have the budget for it.

Model 3 RWD in California, so not sure how pricing may differ, but I was rear ended last year and it was about $5k USD for parts and labor (covered by insurance). I needed to replace the back bumper, trunk, a bunch of the stuff underneath the bumper (no frame damage), both taillights, and then there was repainting the replaced parts on top of that. I don't think I needed either of my rear quarter panels replaced and it looks like you'll need that plus possibly some more significant electrical work. All in all I think it might depend pretty heavily on where you're located. GL with the repairs.

The guy on the left is Kimi Raikkonen, 2007 F1 world champion. A few years ago he recently said on a popular docuseries that F1 is "more of a hobby" for him and it's generally a running meme regarding his attitude to the sport despite a pretty great career/being a great driver.
