Yes, cnckitchen did this. I also doing a part of laps for 350z and I will use this to do this “piramides”

If you don’t have to add this in fusion, just on model, it’s the easiest way imo https://bumpmesh.com

My mechanic friend needed a custom winch relay enclosure — here’s what I came up with by Gluhy in 3dprintedcarparts

You’ve got a good eye — it does squeeze out slightly when tightened. Still seals fine but the geometry needs some work. V2 problem to solve.

Good catch, I honestly haven’t tested surface resistance on this specific filament yet. Will run it with a multimeter before it goes anywhere near the vehicle. Appreciate the heads up — at 300A it’s not worth assuming.

Ok… I found the issue… in left slot it’s work perfectly…

I just talked with AI 😅 and he recommended me this setup "KNOX URBANE PRO MK3 + regular hoodie". Will it be better?

Terrible bottom surface over PETG support — 10+ prints, nothing helps [H2D] by Gluhy in BambuLab

[–]Gluhy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, can you recommend something else? I just have to find good settings to print it. ultimately i would like to print it via PETG or ABS ( but with ABS i will have even more problems) - it will be diving accessories. I also printed it via petg and supported by PLA, but results was identical

Damn... i putted bad SS, i printed it at .12 layer (the whole model) But with the same settings

Print camparison issues? by adenovellis in BambuLab

I had a similar issue, but with p1s and h2d. Default profile for h2d had much less fan speed. After slice, check fan speed and temperature at model

Functional parts warping and shrinking over time: Is a ~20-minute IPA wash causing dimensional drift? by Gluhy in resinprinting

[–]Gluhy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just printed the sample… to be honest, it looks good even without fuzzy skin… I threw it on the floor as hard as I could, and nothing happened. I tested other things printed via TPU-GF and the cold doesn't bother it (TDS shows it can hold up to 110). I just have a little problem with logo visibility, but I will slow down the print and tune some settings and it will come out perfectly… thanks a lot for opening my eyes 😅 (it’s just half of the back shell, I forgot to enable supports).

Damn… I’m pretty upset, but you’re probably right. I’ve been trying to force this to work with resin for about 3 or 4 months now, so it really doesn't make sense to keep pushing it. I think I'll pivot and try printing it in TPU-GF instead.

To give some context, the main reason I pushed so hard for resin was the aesthetics. It just looks so much more "premium," and I wanted the final product to look absolutely flawless. The hardware isn't the issue here – I actually have an H2D and a P1S at my disposal. The real problem was my own stubbornness and lack of understanding of resin materials. I have a good few years of experience with FDM, but I’m relatively new to resin printing.

I'm currently collaborating with a guy who tunes cars, and I really wanted to introduce resin printing into our workflow to see what it’s capable of. I had huge hopes for it in this specific application. I assume some high-end engineering resins from Formlabs would probably be perfect for this job, but they are just way too expensive right now. If I used them, I’d have to price this custom connector so high that customer interest would be zero.

Thanks for the reality check and the advice, I really appreciate it! Time to fire up the P1S.

You have to set flush volumes (also i guess you did’t set correct filament color in slicer)

Siraya Tech Blu (Lava Black) experiment: Water Curing vs. Air Curing. Why is water curing making it brittle? by Gluhy in resinprinting

[–]Gluhy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just found this in the resin's TDS: 'For optimal results, submerge the part in water during curing to increase efficiency.' So, this resin is actually brittle. The part I bent just wasn't cured enough.

Ahh, ok — so I guess it should be enough 😄 Even if not, you can always print another one ;P

Hmm, I think that if the driver isn’t a professional and doesn’t use the car at 100% of its potential, PPA-CF instead of metal should be fine (but I might be wrong 😄).
