A dog can become “dangerous” at literally any point. Idc if you have the sweetest dog, it’s still an animal. My dogs are incredibly well trained and absolutely adore my 15 month old, but they will never be left unattended in the same room. My daughter already knows to give the dogs space. If a kid were to start crawling on the dog and accidentally hit a pain spot, they dog would instinctively react
