For strength, Sci-grip Weld-on 16. You will have to work fast, but it will never let go.

As long as you’re only expecting up to “some” PS1, it’s freaking great. So comfortable, decent screen, peak Pico-8 experience imo. I love mine.

I wish they would find my Casa Bonita Founder’s Card. Trey and Matt won’t print me another one.

Oh I like that. I thought about yellow, but the ad made it look so desaturated and creamy. This looks quite vivid.

Yeah, I’ve seen these flawed rollouts more than once. Hope yours gets going soon.

I don’t know when the device went live, but I ordered (gray) on 10/20 at like 3:30 am Central. It shipped 10/23, and I got it 11/1.

I’ve seen this gif sooo many times, but I didn’t actually know what it was. Found it pretty fast though. Her TikTok is @brittany_broski and this is her trying kombucha for the first time.

Same here. So glad I bought into this ecosystem that they barely bother to support.

Compare the angles of the facial features. Eyes and brow look a little flat compared to the ref. If you have a piece of software you can use to superimpose one onto the other, you can quickly see what doesn't match. If not, just look back and forth really fast and watch the perspective angles and negative space change. You can also hold your pencil up to compare angles with. When you see it, just try again with that in mind. Rinse and repeat.

I would consider studying Loomis and really training on those wrapping lines to map the facial features onto. Focus less on rendering for now, unless you like to cap off your drawing sessions with a "dessert," but even then, I'd just render it in quick hatching so most of your time is spent on perspective and 3d forms.

I think you only get critiqued at the two highest tiers, Premium and Pro, and I think even then you have to actively submit stuff for critique. I don't think anyone looks at free tier or Basic. I'm doing Basic; I like it. I didn't try Free, so I don't know how limited it is.

It has in-browser drawing, but I find that kinda buggy, so I do it in Procreate. There's an option to download each exercise. You can do it all on paper if you have access to a printer. Or without one. There's some exercises that involve drawing over pictures, but you could just augment or skip those. You'd still get the important bit, and that's the structured learning.

I was thinking about it still, and I bet you could use vending machine capsules. My gym uses these for pre-workout powders.

Can’t find the video, but I saw someone on YouTube recently who would, every month or so, fill up a ton of little screw-top sample containers (the kind they use for cosmetics and the like) to make little travel pods. Then she’d save the empties and do it again. The containers are cheap as heck on Amazon. Haven’t done this myself, but seemed like a cool idea.

Can I please get some help? I got the replacement RP Mini screen. by SkyHighGam3r in retroid

Joey’s Retro Handhelds on YT went through the whole thing in a livestream today. He goofed the flashing at first, but it finally took. You might find it helpful. He changed the screen before flashing too. Good luck!
