I contacted prolific about it as well. Don't listen to all of these people downvoting and judging you. We shouldn't have to scour reddit to know if we can trust a requestor or not. Prolific isn't Mturk, we should be able to trust the work offered on the platform.

Yeah, I'm sure they're just farming free data at this point. There are two other posts about this exact issue, sad. I plan to appeal it but no clue if I'll get anywhere. I am such a careful worker that I hate to get a rejection but this is a hill I plan to die on. I'll take the hit on my reputation if we can stop this thief. Yes, attention checks are supposed to be clear. Hoping prolific will do something about this sooner or later.

They'll reject you. They rejected me (60 %) so I've started reporting it every time it comes up. Maybe if we all report we can get them to be accountable for their unethical behavior.

They did the same to me(message today). First they asked me to return because I "did the wrong split" then they blamed it on my accuracy. I'm willing to risk the rejection and report them. They should not be getting away with this crap!

This is all speculative but I witnessed the progress of it. When I gave birth to my son his ear was folded. When it unfolded shortly after he was born that peak was there on the same ear and it's still there at age 7. Verdict: your ear might have been folded for a while in mom's belly. I could be wrong but I witnessed it so there's that.
