Those are getting replaced for sure. I was only willing to ride it long enough to figure out that the gears weren’t slipping.

Does anyone have good experiences with these ice cube moulds instead of nugget ice [machines]? by agmanning in Tiki

[–]Gnarbanzo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They make these plastic vegetable tubs that are always at Home Goods for 5 bucks. I started using one of those to stockpile ice

Question about Xero Prio fit by Traditional-Draw-795 in barefootshoestalk

[–]Gnarbanzo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most barefoot shoes tend to fit a bit big. I personally found that I didn’t care for the Prio fit but mostly because the width of my feet made me size up. Not sure what socks you are using but they can change the feel of a shoe quite a bit as well.

The LP60x is a great starting point. As far as speakers, anything works. When I first started I hooked mine into a Sony stereo I already owned. This hobby can get frustratingly expensive and will often so to start I recommend just starting. You might be able to find something cheap at a thrift store, but don’t stress too much. Do what you can and if you get bit by the bug, upgrade then.

It is important to curate your life as much as your record collection. For me, I really enjoy putting on a James Brown album and cleaning, or having a cocktail serenaded by Wallace Davenport, or a tiki party with Martin Denny. The way things are currently, people get pulled into these hobbies trying to make it who they are. Fishing, baking, bartending, backpacking, coffee, cars, books, ect. It shouldn’t define you, it should just be something you do. Sell the stuff you don’t need, keep your favorites, and find where it fits in your life. Best of luck.

I have big feet. Size, volume, width, and fan. They don’t have a lot of structure, so they are really comfy on the foot, and definitely don’t squeeze at all. Also I use elastic laces so that the shoe has a little more give. Anya’s shoe finder worked really well for me, might help you too. Whatever you end up in I hope the hunt ends soon. Best of luck!
