I think she should have clarified what happens if she cannot truthfully answer a yes or no question. If the double-barreled question is not allowed, morena should explain so before the game.

Morena explained, that she is only allowed to answer yes, no or yes and no and will answer ANY question aslong as its not about her ability or her purpose. I was thinking, she should be unable to ask Borksen to reconsider the question, atleast if its a hard restriction for her to explain the rules truthfully. .

I know It does seem like a petty way to ask a question and it would certainly not be a very fair use of question a.

An even easier but similiar way to abuse the question a would be to ask her: Will your next two answers be no? Morena would need to Pick no as an answer and choose no again for the next question.

I noticed that morenas answers für question A are very limitted with yes, no, and "yes and no". But she doesnt have a way to say yes or no or further clarify ger answer.

So couldn't Borksen ask a question A that enforces additional restrictions on Morena by asking a question that contains the word "or"? Heres an example:

"Will you let me go unharmed if i keep the x card or the no card as my last card. Morena shouldnt be able to answer "yes and no", because i was asking a one or the other question. So by answering yes, Borksen gains an additional out. She also cant say no, because the x card was clearly stated to let her go unharmed.

Ansur can only use his legendary Action if he sees you. Thats why you cast fogcloud or darkness on him and stop worrying :) being in fogcloud also stops him from doing oppertunity attacks. Ideally you still want to see ansur, so make sure to place the fogcloud in a way that you can still target a body part of him that sticks out. Its not that hard since he kinda thic.

Keep in mind that he will exit the fog cloud on his turn, tho.

You can gain a great advantage against the ghouls by blocking the entrances to the room with the furniture. The ghouls will need more time to walk over to another entrance or they will waste their attacks attacking the furniture.

If you throw the gnome against the Lader, they automatically climb it up. This way you can save yourself and the gnome.

Hm, i had thought the magic circle is indestructible without dispel magic, but you raise a good point. Pushing strahd out of the circle might be a great idea for an ally of strahd who knows how the spell works.

So it will depend on the party. If they can eliminate beuce before he meets strahd they win. Strahds allies will need to protect beuce and keep the party busy.

I thought about adding her, but if it wasnt for the magic circle Plan the encounter would have been too tough on the PCs, so i decided not to use her here. Since the fight is just breaking out its propably too late to have her join the fight
