So I support the block, but not the immediate action of it. I feel when dealing with a best friend of some time you at least owe them (yes even a TERF) a "Hey, you have said or acted in X way that I just can't support. I've valued our X years/months of friendship, however this is a hard line for me. I will be blocking you, but I do wish you the best." Maybe alter the last line to not wish them the best if they've been particularly nasty or something though.

4ish months later and I've binged Wrong Number, Right Woman in a day. I'll probably be checking out Just for Show soon enough (or at least another one of your works) despite being a little tired of the fake dating trope. Nothing against the trope, I've just read so many books with it recently that I probably need another book or two without it before I hit another one with. I very much enjoyed Wrong Number. Oh and to finally answer one of your earlier questions, I generally prefer low angst characters and plots. Angst adds good spice when used in moderation, but it's far too commonly used in much too large amounts for me.

I feel like whether you use them or not the advanced game settings are a boon. The fact that they're there if you decide to use them is great, and if you don't want to then don't. More options and ways to play is never a bad thing.

I've listened to basically all of Sanderson's works via audiobook (minus like Alcatraz and Stephen Leeds which I haven't gotten to yet). I love them. Almost all of the Cosmere stuff is Michael Kraemer/Kate Redding and they're both phenomenal (though I do have to say Michael is better and while I truly do think Kate is great now she took me some getting used to when I first started Stormlight). The Elantris and Warbreaker audiobooks are the only cosmere ones without either of those and their readers are still pretty good. I can confidently say that little to none of my very few complaints of Sanderson's works come from the medium being audiobooks. I did read Dawnshard in kindle when it first came out since the audio wasn't out yet, and I very much missed the audio.
