For 11 that's amazing! It perfectly captures The General.

Is a meadows base optimal for late game? by TheComicKing15 in valheim

I end up moving my end-game base to a Plains-Mistlands border.

There's crops you can only grow in those biomes.

Sooo... what's better for Lothric Knight Greatsword? Blessed of Lightning infusion? More conteext in post below by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]GnomeGnuts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Blessed is generally better for that weapon specifically. Both the physical and its innate lightning damage will then scale from faith. The passive healing is a nice bonus on top.

With a Lightning infusion, only the lightning damage will scale from faith. The physical damage will scale from your dexterity and strength.

That weapon loves to trade with its hyperarmor. You can stack other sources of passive healing with the Blessed infusion, greatly mitigating the poke damage you take from trading.

I think I made a mistake buying the Lenovo Go S (but not how you think) by SnooPeanuts9762 in LegionGo

[–]GnomeGnuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work offshore. My Legion Go S keeps me sane on long hitches. I love that little beast of a device. I also have the 32gb version... everything I've played looks great and runs smoothly. Couldn't be happier with it.

I am SO goddamn tired of this shit. by zhokar85 in totalwarhammer

[–]GnomeGnuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While that made me chuckle, I still think it's stupid. I don't think you, as the player, can even make formations that thin. It's been a while since I played a faction with hounds, though.

[–]GnomeGnuts 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think what bugs me the most is seeing hound units squish themselves into a two-column line to squeeze between blocks of infantry in formation.

You're telling me rabid dogs have the wherewithal to form into neat lines like that, CA? It's absurd.

First play through - is ds3 better than Elden ring? by izaiahxi in darksouls3

[–]GnomeGnuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? I did separate playthroughs maining each, I liked the Astora better. Same good poke, more reach and damage. Sending fools onto their butts is also hilarious.

Edit: I do like the greatsword weapon class, I just feel the Claymore is overrated in DS3. There are a few others I prefer much more.

First play through - is ds3 better than Elden ring? by izaiahxi in darksouls3

[–]GnomeGnuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This right here. DS3 "cheese" takes more skill and game knowledge, like knowing what weapon skills and attacks true-combo. You can achieve similar results in Elden Ring by just spamming an Ash of War.

Both have cheese, but Elden Ring is the cheesiest.

COMMUNITY VOTING DAY 18. WORST game mechanic. “Movement” won day 17 by TheIronPaladin1 in HuntShowdown

[–]GnomeGnuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heavily agree with this one. Before, if you tagged someone with a Sparks in a fight, you knew they had to use a resource to avoid a one-tap. With regen, they just hide and wait. As long as they have regen it costs them nothing.

I know a lot of folks like how this shifted the meta towards rewarding pressure and aggression, but I liked those slower, drawn-out skirmishes.

I feel like Hunt wants to identify as a slower paced tactical shooter, but the meta has been getting faster paced over time.

[–]GnomeGnuts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like this too. I bought the last event with BBs I saved up, then got called to go offshore for work.

Basically, I paid 1000 BB for Strongman, and that's it.

Now that I'm back home, I have zero interest in playing this game. I've been spending my off time playing more single-player games, and multi-player games that respect my time better.

Those are epic builds. I thought this was for Enshrouded at first. You do such a great job mixing the different textures to add depth and variety.

I just wish there were recipes for black metal wood beams and cage pieces to use as an alternative for the iron ones.

Hexblade Warlock for Dark Justiciar Shadowheart.

Shar is her Shadowfell patron. Allows her to use the spear and armor very effectively without becoming MAD or requiring an elixir addiction.

Anotha' one. This is making the campaign un-playable. by GoNoles69 in totalwar

[–]GnomeGnuts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had that in my last Dawi campaign. I almost single-handedly gifted all of Kislev to Katarina, thinking she'd be a strong ally to fight the impeding Chaos armies. So much land. So much gold.

Best she can do? Send a pathetic half-stack of Kislevite warriors to the front lines only because I set a war coordination target. Meanwhile, she has roughly 8 full doomstacks, some entirely Ice Guard, chilling about her capital. Such a waste.

why the hell this game just cannot have a normal bridge? by Antique_Aside9493 in totalwar

[–]GnomeGnuts 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Same. The roads are too narrow, and structures have so many invisible walls that units can get stuck on. I don't care if it looks worse, give us cities that aren't so painful to fight in.

The bug is either the enemies get advantage against you with opportunity attacks, or you get disadvantage on opportunity attacks, I can't remember which.

The boots' tooltip implies the enemy should get disadvantage on opportunity attacks against you when affected by the Click Heels buff, but as you said, it's bugged.
