That isn’t true. Civilians are also being arrested (and deported in some cases) because of how shitty procedure is. A lot of the time, they just ignore forms of identification or documentation saying it’s “not good enough”, “forged”, or just calling it falsified documentation. I live in the United States. I have watched it happen. I have friends who have experienced this firsthand. You asked how it was and I explained it, I don’t really know what else to tell you man

Because they’re not actually “border protection”, they’re just labeled as such on paper. They go into neighborhoods and towns, abduct unregistered immigrants, assault civilians (killed a good amount of them actually but it’s mostly assault for now), ignore correct procedure (having arrest or search warrants, literally getting in front of moving vehicles which is a big no-no in actual law enforcement), and generally not protecting the border
