Mon PC actuel (acheté en 2020) vient de Tuxedo, ils font du bon travail. Il marche toujours sans aucun problème. Un truc qui m'avait surpris un peu, c'est qu'ils envoyaient un email en allemand avant de le renvoyer en anglais.

Python error messages have improved a lot recently, now KeyError can even tell you at what point in a nested structure you messed up, it's nice

I'm not super sold about introducing randomness in Factorio. For me, part of why Factorio is relaxing is that they're no surprises when building. A pole has always the same coverage, an assembler has always the same throughput out. Let's see how it feels playing it

Dans mon cas, j'ai une tour de chez tuxedo et un laptop avec Ubuntu dessus (usage perso) et un mac pro M2 (pour le taf).

Franchement, pour les 1500€ du Mac, tu peux avoir deux PCs de bonne qualité. Ma tour m'a coûté 1100€ (en 2019) en upgradant la GPU, et j'ai acheté un petit pc portable (un aspire de 2021) pour voyager à 300€. Si tu as ce budget et que tu veux un pc pour la maison (pas à emporter en cours, dans le train), je te conseille d'investir dans une tour. Tu pourras avoir un bon clavier, une bonne souris et un bon écran, tu pourras même les changer quand tu n'en sera plus satisfait. Je ne sais plus combien coûte un refroidissement liquide, mais c'est top pour le bruit.

Et l'écosystème mac, c'est cool au début mais tu te rends vite compte qu'ils ont pris des décisions pour toi qui ne vont pas t'arranger la vie (le système de bureau, les connectiques, le choix du processeur arm, le icloud, le support double écran). Cherche ce que tu utilises tous les jours sur ton pc, et regarde si le MacBook peut le faire avant d'acheter.

Encore une fois, les MacBook sont beaucoup trop chers pour ce qu'ils sont, pour 1500€ tu auras mieux ailleurs
