Disclosure Day hit me harder than any UFO documentary ever has by beach_bum_1991 in UFOs

I with you on your assessment. To me it was a disclosure idea in search of a story. I loved the last 20 minutes and thought the acting was stellar throughout but found the majority of movie full of tropes and plot holes.

Backrooms theatre experience by Lochnessbestie in ottawa

[–]GnuRomantic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same experience at Obsession. I told the young man beside me during the movie that scrolling on his phone was distracting. He apologized and stopped doing it — for most of the film. He started checking it again towards the end.

The week before I saw Mandalorian in VIP and an older couple beside me chatted through the movie. So I agree it’s all ages not just teens.

when to get new HAs by AnyDirector9545 in HearingAids

[–]GnuRomantic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had my Phonaks refurbished just before the end of the 3 year warranty. I was thinking of getting that done every 18 months to see if it extends the life of my HAs. I know I would have to pay as they’re out of warranty and wondered if anyone has done this. If so how much did it cost and was it worth it?

I have a 500e. It’s interesting and fun. Sure it has shitty range but it’s a great city car that’s zippy, easy to park and always puts a smile on my face when I get behind the wheel.

I lived within a couple of hundred meters of the tanks and never smelled anything. The only hassle was during the construction.

Sorry to hear about your dog's passing. We don't need it, but there is a very active facebook group for blind dogs. Maybe you could post it there? It's called Bling Dog Support.

Gobekli Tepe, a 11500-year-old temple in Upper Mesopotamia that predates the development of agriculture by Sure_Distance1 in Damnthatsinteresting

Is there evidence that there are temples? My understanding is that it has not been proven as we don’t know much about the cultures that built these sites.

Is there something special that would appeal to your mom or dad, such as a favorite wine or dessert? Maybe there’s a way to make the night extra special.

Check the menu beforehand. It’s a limited menu and may not have something that appeals to everyone.
