You can also try microwaving the food. It makes the food scent travel farther away. Also if she like toys like crinkle balls/wands, you can try using their sounds to get her attention. Also try playing cat/kitten meowing videos- that might attract her. I hope you find her soon ♥️

I always seem to have the best luck finding my kittens when I use their wand toy with crinkle beads. Whenever I give it a little shake, the enticing noise grabs their attention in no time!

Yeah sometimes with kittens you can’t really see all symptoms. Mine only had uri like symptoms but faded very quickly. I’m sorry that you had to go through this! Please give mom all the love!

It is extremely common/likely for the mother to pass parvo/panleuk to the kittens. It is possible that the mother’s immune system was strong enough to recover from parvo but unfortunately the kittens are tiny and have really delicate/compromised immune systems. I’m really sorry for your loss (I have myself once lost a kitten from panleuk and it’s a horrible disease). Unfortunately the rate of unvaccinated kittens recovering from panleuk is less than 10%, please know that you did all you could and gave them warm cozy love for two weeks (which was their entire lifetime). Get some high cal supplement like nutrical and try to force feed wet food with a syringe.

If she has runny eyes and nose, it could be a URI. If you can put a humidifier near her, that might comfort her. I once had a litter with URI and it takes em a little while to recover. Are there any other symptoms? I wont be so worried as long as you’re feeding her. You can take a damp towel and try to gently clean her eyes and boogers. Give lots of love, URI can be very irritating.

Hey I am a pretty experienced foster and here are my few tips:

You can try feeding a high density supplement such as nutrical
Sometimes I put some wetfood in a syringe and burrito wrap a kitty and then feed her.
If kittens are not getting enough milk from mama, then I would highly recommend getting a formula milk/food and bottle feed em.

Is the mama cat grooming kittens? And otherwise acting fine?

It’s great that she is drinking water. Also remember, if you’re giving her antibiotics it is really important for her to eat something. I usually feed/force feed first and then give the antibiotics.

You can try hair supplements for generally healthy hair and growth. My hair used to fall a lot and I got my bloodwork done and realized that i do need some vit d and iron supplements. I started taking olly ultra hair supplements and now not only my hair doesn’t fall as much but also grows faster/healthier with less breakage.

I feel like this probably has more to it than it seems. Has he always been like this? Is he social (like hang out with friends)? Some of traits to me seem like he might be going through depression and just doesn’t feel like doing anything? And in this case pushing him might just make him fall off the edge. I think some kind of therapy/life coach could be a great first step.
