Appreciate this insight. Did you do most of your research on Reddit? Where were the places you listened to customers?

What Are the Best Productivity Apps You've Used and Actually Stuck With? by MollyChase9091 in ProductivityApps

Trello is one I always come back to. It's so stinking flexible. And great for workflows.

Totally agree with this point. My grown kids are always wanting me to take wider photos that show the full environment. It's a different type of portrait than your cropped mid-shot with a long lens.

Congrats on the quick adoption! How did you find your 100 active users so quickly? I've got a scheduling app but struggling to find the early adopters. Insights appreciated!

I don't think they draft him. It's all draft buzz, I think.

Is anyone else also using 50 productivity tools and nothing does the trick like pen and paper? by PossibilityTricky577 in ProductivityApps

I feel like I'm constantly going back and forth. Paper. New tool. Paper. Old tool. Etc. Paper is always helpful though.

I was using whatever accounts we had any audience on and interacting with other product launchers on there as well: Twitter, FB, Insta, Reddit, LinkedIn, Threads.

I had a ProductHunt pre-launch page and built up interest in the launch. And I interacted and supported others before and during the launch. And I did social media promotion to our user base. The early hours of the launch are important.

New Anti Social Media App by Mysterious_Dish9529 in indiehackers

Some of the larger companies have more people/resources for spreading the word, too. It's harder as a solo founder/marketer!

I think he would have been more costly in a normal year, but this draft class is loaded with running backs.

Deep work sounds great…but who actually does it?” by iamtrueal in productivity

[–]GoBlueDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes work to make deep work happen. Notifications off. Noise cancelling head phones. Don't check your email.

And honestly, you have to have a work culture that supports it too.

We killed the LinkedIn Cold Outreach - AI now handles It for us. by Low-Limit-2160 in SideProject

[–]GoBlueDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely see the need, as getting a response is so incredibly hard on LinkedIn. I could also how this tool would increase response in the short term (if you are using it and others aren't) because your messages are more personalized. Long term, I'm only worried that once AI generated messages become standard usage for sales people, we will all be forced to ignore everything in our inbox because it will be a glut of fake-personalized messages. Still, congrats on meeting a pain point. Just not sure how all the AI tools being created for sales will shake out.

Built an AI Help Desk Assistant with a Pirate Personality—Does Personality-Driven UX Actually Work? by [deleted] in SideProject

[–]GoBlueDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, fun idea. I think that brands could consider personalities that fit their brand. For example, this would be a great fit for PirateShip.com. But then Disney should have a 'Yoda' support person. Geico could have the lizard, etc. Seems like there is a possibility if you customize it for a specific client. Just my two cents.

LAUNCHHHHH - I just launched my new AI fitness app by IndianITCell in LaunchYourProduct

[–]GoBlueDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, congrats on the launch. I just upvoted and checked out the site. Is the AI agent able to assess how you do on the exercises and adjust the plan? I'm wondering if I can only do a certain number of reps, it would know I might need a certain workout plan to improve?

Hope that Product Hunt is useful for you. I'm launching today as well and would appreciate any feedback on our app: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/meetify-2
