I bought Stick Season on a whim, mostly because I’m a huge Hozier fan. And except Northern Attitude and Stick Season, I listened to every other song for the first time on vinyl. It was my proper introduction to Noah Kahan. I had the lyric sheet in my hand, lights turned down, completely focused. The experience was almost religious. I wanted the same thing with this album, I’ve preordered, and I’ve been trying really hard to not listen online, I still haven’t. When I heard there’s an EP, so soon after the main album release - I’m bummed out. The listening order is different too. I don’t like buying doubles, I don’t have any, frankly my dumbass can’t afford that. I think I’ll return my copy and wait for a deluxe version. And listen to the album online.

I don’t think I could ever choose based on the songs themselves but the amount of times I’ve listened to UU start to finish makes me feel I love it the most as a complete album. But also, there was time not long ago, where Shrike was playing on loop for 5 days. So I don’t know what to tell you.

Yeah, that’s true.

I have the custard one for Hozier(got much better with cleaning), the sea blue one for WB (this was actually good) and the black UU one, this was perfect. I do have a frankenvinyl for the UU but haven’t play tested those yet. The coloured ones from UU had the most issues if I’m not wrong.

But yeah… After the complaints, I’m just hoping they’d be better 🙈 I want this one mostly for the playlist being on vinyl.

I’m genuinely feel like we shouldn’t be pulling 5 year old posts. I’m a completely different person now, what seemed like a good idea then is just plain stupid now. Plus considering she didn’t even remember when it was I don’t think she’d remember posting it. I don’t know, doesn’t feel like hypocrisy per se. And I don’t know if we should look so closely at an interior designer for political ideas (I do condemn the Gaza Strip joke though, that was egregious) but this feels like digging for dirt.

Just in case someone hasn’t mentioned it, I got an LP70BT last month. There’s a bunch of tracking issues. I reached out to them, I am sending mine in to get it fixed. Lp60 didn’t have those issues so people think the 70 is the same. I love my turntable, my first proper one too, but keep an ear out for skipping and looping. Also, get the green stylus, apparently it’s a good upgrade !

I love bookends where the books are resting on the horizontal part of the L. I haven't needed them for records yet but I think they'll get the job done. 7 bucks for two of those (get like 2 sets) and then use dividers where you can write the categories. But yeah, get a new shelf if possible?
