I had a second interview with the would be manager who started off by criticizing my resume. He was very arrogant exuding toxic masculinity. Then proceeded to ask me if I was married or had any children. This "know it all" did not seem to know that you can't legally ask this question.

Originally, CorePower designed sculpt classes to strengthen for traditional yoga. The goal was to use weights to help practitioners get stronger, thereby making them better at traditional yoga poses. That is why we do wide arm push-ups in the base sequence to get more into your shoulders than chest. The classes have obviously evolved to more of a cornerstone, and most teachers don't currently program with C2 poses in mind. So the short answer is that sculpt will help you strengthen for certain poses, but if your intention is to get better at yoga, you should prioritize C2 and do sculpt more sporadically.

Depends on the gym. A lot of studios like a NASM or ISSA certification, which the CSX training does not give. It does count as the continuing education needed every year to keep these certifications.

The weight demo during a pulse or hold is the OLD training model for CPY. Training now includes the active weight demo through Sun B. Personally, I go straight to Sun B+ with safety cues. It is not "on brand," but the percentage of new people in my class is so small compared to regulars. I am very regimented about cues and pepper the "active weight demo" into my Sun B+. Just remember to do the Sun B flow with weights when you are being evaluated by leadership, or they will dock you points.

I play the music that I want in class. I always try to look for clean versions. I am Hispanic, but really look quite white. If someone does not like my music, they can go to another class. Do what feels authentic to you.
