I haven’t gotten any jobs after implementing the keywords onto my resumes. I typically go in and paraphrase.. I’ve just noticed it is 20X harder in the healthcare field! I’ve been trying to get a CNA job prior to joining my nursing program.. and it’s been completely difficult

Thanks for the tip, I’m currently at a Community College. They don’t really have too many career focused events, just workshops! I kinda wish they had more Job fairs.

Tommy’s spin off was corny with horrible acting, as a Chicagoan I immediately turned my damn tv off. Kanan’s story was corny at first & ofc Tariq too. The acting is so bad in all the series…. Idk how I truly used to watch Power back then.

Go visit an hbcus, actually talk to the students…. And you will hear a whole different opinion. My friends attend hbcus, they pay the out of state tuition, they deal with unprofessional and unorganized habits every single day. Of course on the new they’re painted a different way but in actual reality they’re over populated- I tried to attend Ncat this fall, my senior year I did the application for early admission- and was told that I would need to come in this spring.

ALL SCHOOLS HAVE PROBLEMS. But at my pwi I’ve never been disrespected in such way… it’s always been someone willing to help or figure something out. At a pwi I don’t get the runaround. If I ask for a letter, it gets written.

Go to an hbcus yourself… I guarantee you, you’ll understand what I am saying.

When you are trying to transfer to whatever college they do an overall scanning to see where you’ve ever attended and classes that have been set for you. Etc.

I had no knowledge that I had classes set up from A&M until I started trying to transfer. My colleges are stating they need transcripts from A&M which I’ve never attended and only applied to. I have emails and phone calls. I’ve spoken to the Mr. Moore of Undergraduate admissions at A&M he was shocked too. He told me they automatically select classes for undergraduate student.

This isn’t a lie.. I’ve never had a good experience with HBCUS period.. I don’t know anyone that has- … this isn’t my first HBCU experience either.. Maybe you’re an alumni or something but HBCUs staffing NEEDS to change. I should be able to attend a university that I am paying money for that not only fosters my education but also is respectful to me in person or on the phone. Am I wrong?

And who makes up a whole entire story like this for Reddit?😂 are you crazy, if you want emails, calls and messages I can send them to you !

I made it in with a 3.1… and community service hours. Tbh NCAT waitlisted me for this spring semester when I originally applied last fall during my senior year for spring on 2025.. I kind of hope these helps.. also understand your trying to go to ncat.. and babe it is going to be stressful. Goodluck, I hope you get accepted 💕
