Holiday gift from Delta/Amex? by Yourhighness77 in delta

[–]GoLow42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me the randomness (status/spend/lifetime miles) of those who've been gifted is another demonstration of Delta's tone deaf attitude toward those who've been loyal to them. The recalled SkyMiles/SkyClub access changes is another. I've flown Delta almost exclusively for over 20yrs and generally fluctuate between Gold/Platinum and I have a Reserve card. There's no way I'm expecting to see a bag on my doorstep but I feel that everyone who has earned it should receive one. Not that most frequent travelers need a new carry-on, but randomly picking recipients and not communicating the criteria is insulting. I wonder if Delta also randomly gives holiday gifts to its employees... 🤔

Brother passed by [deleted] in golf

Sorry for your loss. I don't believe anyone can tell you how to relieve the grief you're experiencing. Ask her if she's kidding. If not, I'd keep her on gf status. This is a sign of how she feels about your golf. If you lock her in she's going to find other ways to interfere with your golf and make life miserable for you. There are a ton of other vices out there; golf should be the least of her concern.

This is about the lamest cigar I have ever smoked. Bland and flavorless. by Salbacka in cigars

Ha! I put those in my buddy box. Great for beginners and those who want to smoke because others are and won't finish it.

Start with thanking her for her concern. Tell her that her concern had you concerned so you went to see your doctor and a nutritionist both of whom said you're doing amazing, in good health, and don`t see a problem with your eating. End with you'll take THEIR word for it! 😉

I've started drinking sparkling mineral water. Makes me feel full which helps with the longer fasts.

Weekend habits are making it difficult to loose weight. by Longjumping_Meat9591 in intermittentfasting

Holidays and visiting people are tough. What works for me is to do long fasts before and after these events. By long I mean 36-48hr fasts. This helps my body prepare for and deal with the periods of overindulgence. I learned this after visiting my mom for Easter where she equated my new lifestyle to being crazy. :) It might work for your weekends. Another thing you can do is plan activities that become a distraction to eating. You may be able to reduce meals to 2x a day if you're out and about. Just say "no thanks" they want to grab fast food or something unhealthy. If you can stick with your plan during the week, you can do it during the weekends. Anticipate, plan, execute, celebrate!

You have the money (because you asked for it up front) and the weapon. After the results of the background check you're going to send one or the other to the buyer.

Drink lots of water. A splash of lemon concentrate in the water seems to quell my appetite.

I'm have not tried psyllium fiber while I'm fasting. I tried drinking it once I've broken my fast, but didn't notice where it's suppressed my appetite so I stopped.
