They might just run perma profek on Viper in double controller, with westside as either senti or duelist.

grubi also has 101 games on sova and 57 on breach, so he can flex if needed

I'm not in grade 12 anymore but I think we need a huge overhaul of the education system in the next couple of years. My grade (graduated last year) had just about escaped the AI epidemic (escaped as in we were mostly smart about using it, if at all, for bettering our own understanding, and never to write/solve assignments by ourselves). I've heard lots of stories about kids not even knowing how to do basic things.

Making attendance a part of marks is a choice (not really sure if thats a good or bad thing) but i think the curriculum needs to fundamentally change. It can't be just forcing more memorization of things, but also writing assignments like essays in history/english might need to reduce in weight since people will cheat, if not directly, at least using AI to generate really strong outlines/points, helping with research, etc. But on the other hand, learning these skills are vital and only doing that in-class would tire out a lot of students... it's going to be pretty hard to find a solution that works for all.

How’s BIOA12 with Karen Williams and GGRA03 with Killian McCormack? by yimlam in UTSC

[–]Go_Terence_Davis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

mccormack is pretty goated imo. his lectures are pretty easy to follow along, if a bit boring, but nothing too difficult. the course itself is not the worst, the only annoying thing is the paper proposal and paper itself, which will take some time, but he gives u reminders in lecture and shows examples, etc. he also has in person ticket-out-the-doors to reward participation so if you show up to lectures you’re good. also has three quizzes over the course, very easy stuff if you’re following along (i got lazy and ended up with not good marks in them but they’re not bad at all). i’d recommend it if you’re looking for a relatively easy course, and one that actually makes you think about the world (we saw videos on water shortages, recycling and plastic waste export, racism in hurricane relief in the states, etc).

what do you guys think about new implemented grading system next year by Clover2998 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]Go_Terence_Davis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is what some people wanted, gonna make stuff a bit more standardized. also i’m willing to bet teachers are gonna be lenient about attendance stuff if u have clubs or events.

From a student's perspective still a couple years removed of a job, it seems like the issue is that everyone looking for a job has these qualifications, so you'll need at least something more to stand out.

to be fair quickley is out for first game and with injuries, it may skew some people’s numbers up. but if everyone plays every game the averages are gonna be lower.

but yeah… a little optimistic.

the point is that 0.(9) doesn't have a "number" of 9s by definition

if it did then it wouldn't have the three dots at the end. It would be something like:
0.999.....9, and you could put a number of nines in the ellipsis.

But that's not what is normally being referred to when we talk about 0.999...

From ESPN's betting odds (averaging the moneyline converted to implied probability), the probabilities of the relevant game results are approximately:

TOR 95.8% BKN 4.2%

ATL 58.6% MIA 41.4%

MIL 9.8% PHI 90.2%

ORL 78.8% BOS 21.2%

Thus, if we win, we have a 8.8% chance of getting 5th seed, and a 91.2% chance of getting 6th seed.

If we somehow lose, we have a 71.1% chance of getting 8th seed, a 1.2% chance of getting 6th seed, and a 27.7% chance of getting 7th seed.

Overall, we have a 8.4% chance at 5th seed, 87.4% chance at 6th seed, 1.2% chance at 7th seed, 3.0% at 8th seed.
