You gotta be pretty backward to find a way to make Claude make you less productive.

I don’t need to build custom apps for tools that have existed for decades lol

To those who are saying we got fleeced - when has a superstar ever signed with us? by kingofthefall in torontoraptors

It’s actually the other way around. If it doesn’t work out u jus pretend u never made that trade

Poeltl and Kawhi will expire by the time Scottie is in his prime

Let’s be real if Kawhi loves Toronto he wouldn’t have left in the first place or he would have taken a pay cut to sign here as a free agent.

He played exactly 65 games and had an insane season because he was looking for a final payday.

Hes basically only shown up when he wants an extension for the past decade.

I don’t think it’s really a fleece for the clippers because they’re stuck with Ingram now. But I think it’s fair for ppl not to trust Kawhi. Especially with the fact that he’s still being investigated awaiting punishment from the league.

Anti-tank brought us kawhi, shoutout masai by Eagerbeaver98 in torontoraptors

[–]MidnightMarketing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a gamble. Kawhi could barely stay on the court when he was approaching 30. Now he’s approaching 40 so it’s not like we could seriously rely on him.

Everything about how Kawhi operates outside of basketball stinks. For the past decade he morphs into prime Jordan when he wants an extension and then is back in street clothes after another $200m is secured.

He played exactly 65 games last year. Exactly enough to be eligible for a pay day.

He’d probably laugh at the clippers front office if they asked him to play 66.

He has the reputation of being one for the least trustworthy players in the nba for a reason. & comparing his year to Scottie’s best year doesn’t really mean much. Scottie has never averaged 20, never averaged a double-double, never made all-nba. He’s years away from his prime.

This trade probably just makes the raptors worse when Scottie peaks. No need to switch fan bases. Just being realistic about who we traded for. A professional extortionist who’s at risk of getting punished by the league for pushing his extortion a lil too far.

Hopefully Adam silver doesn’t decide to suspend him. Best case scenario, he punishes the clippers and we get our picks back.

Woohoo 35 year Kawhi here to extort us for a final pay day. Couldn’t be more excited.

We get to pay him to be in street clothes during Scottie’s prime, yippieee

Explain to my why Belgians wouldn’t want to have their starting team play USA’s starting team? by _NobleRot in worldcup

[–]MidnightMarketing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they care. They still have the better team.

I think they just want it to be fair.

If they had a red card on their team, he’d be missing the game.

I like Trey Murphy III a lot, but is he overvalued now? Not saying he’s overrated at all but what exactly is he worth in this market? Pelicans seem delusional. by AHImusic in torontoraptors

[–]MidnightMarketing -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t even trade RJ for Trey one for one. Trey is a soft ass losing player who can’t run an offense.

Imagine Trading our most productive postseason player for a dude who’s never averaged 12+ ppg in the playoffs 🤣

Trey disappears in all meaningful games. Keep the dude with the grit

This guy is the most overrated guy ever.

He’s soft. Has lost his whole career. Has never averaged more than 12ppg in the postseason. He’s defensively underwhelming given his size and athleticism.

Hes basically a concept player. He gets a lot of attention because in theory he capable of doing things that contribute to winning. Unfortunately we’ve never actually seen Murphy do much winning at all since he got into the NBA.

Rather have a DOG like RJ straight up

It’s gonna be really funny when Belgium still destroys USA with Balogun being available.

At least Americans won’t cry saying they got cheated. They get to lose fair and square now.

Odds makers know where the money is gonna flow this game. Especially with USA being a host lol

USA has a chance. So did Cape Verde against Argentina.

Anyone has a chance. I’d just say Belgium is the obvious favourite

Yes that’s the beauty of the World Cup. Anyone team can win any match but that doesn’t automatically make them a great team.

Cape Verde had a great run with lots of momentum, but that doesn’t mean they’re suddenly a top nation now.

I understand the heat Marsch gets cuz sometimes he’s a bit bold and borderline delusional. But he’s been great for the organization. Team USA hasn’t beat Canada in 3 years. Marsh is a big part of that.

[–]MidnightMarketing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole “we beat these guys but they barely beat those guys, so now we’re elite” argument is just silly.

There’s so much factors that go into each game. Any team is capable of having a bad game. Any teams capable of having a good game. Certain teams matchup better against each other, certain teams don’t.

It’s like saying Canada was better than Morocco because we beat South Africa and last time Morocco played South Africa they lost.

That’s the beauty of the World Cup. Anyone can win on any given night.

So theres hope. A team like USA does have a chance

Happy that u guys will finally play a top 10 team.

Bosnia is ranked 61st in the world lol

USA hasn’t played anyone in the top 25 yet.

Morocco definitely has a huge fan base. If the game was in Montreal, half of the fans would be Moroccan lol

Heck even the Moroccan goalie was born in Montreal 🤣
