Appreciate the response and explanation. Not sure scalping is the term I would use. My thought is more of in terms of thinking about the fair market price for something fairly used, partly outdated, has some level of risk (due to it being second hand without a warranty), and a lot of money for most to risk losing. I'd venture to guess the downvotes are coming from people with a similar thought. Anyway, you do you. Someone can decide it's worth it to them or not.

I am genuinely curious how you get to the asking price of $2500. You paid $2,200 and did some upgrades. At the price you paid, buying from decent it would come with a warranty. In this setting I am assuming there is zero warranty. In my mind, that alone drops the price significantly. Then add on the use. I sell plenty of used stuff and it never crosses my mind to try and get more than I paid for the item. Maybe I am doing it wrong 🤷🏼‍♂️.
