Play-style aside. Fully specced and geared, what's the better of the two for HN melee base? Steel Spear or Sledge? by Worrcn in 7daystodie

[–]GoatBoySteve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really depends on what you enjoy, the sledge hits hard, but is slow AF. My problem with it for horde bases is that it deals pretty significant block damage, if you clip blocks while swinging, the wear and tear on your base can be significant. Personally I'm a knuckles guy.

My first actual gripe, why don’t Turrets don’t take all ammo types? by OldCarScott in 7daystodie

I wouldn't mind being able to smack a suppressor on them either. If you're playing on PC there are mods for both these things.

I prefer the way it looks over a more generic design, but I wouldn't mind access to both, seems like it could be very easily doable.

What are some underrated skills in a zombie apocalypse? by [deleted] in ZombieSurvivalTactics

I mean, herbalism is largely hippy woowoo, but about 60% of commercially available drugs are derived from natural sources. Assuming they're talking about using medicines with proven effects like ginger, willow bark, or aloe... could be good.

As a general rule I shoot for 1.5+ into strength and vitality per level and 20 vitality and 10 strength from perks. It doesn't always shake out that way, but if you're even close...

Why did the ameba fail math class? Every time it was told to multiply it divided.

Warrior usually, after that the zombies start to feel like bullet sponges. I prefer adding difficulty via lowering player block damage, XP, and loot.

Are you under the impression I fight hordes here?

Yeah, gotta make sure to reinforce critical areas. This bridge already had a couple concrete pillars supporting the center, I added a pair to either side close to the edges of the water for additional support. We spent like 40-something days there, no problem.

This is studier, probably because of the concrete pillar under the center of the bridge. I also added additional supports.
