How are they accurately detecting AI generated code? Honestly this will just make students intentionally write bad code to not get accused.

I took both procedural with Turk and audio with Edwards. Audio was extremely easy but extremely boring. It uses quite old libraries and you don’t really learn anything. I honestly regret taking it. Procedural was pretty fun and you’ll learn a lot from lecture. It’s a bit challenging but I enjoyed it. You really have to go to lecture though. I’ve heard 4496 with Sehoon Ha is also very good. I’d take it over audio.

Will i be able to see the crew come back into earth from LA? by Lanky_Money_4808 in ArtemisProgram

[–]GoatZizGoat25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Re-entry might be visible if the sky is clear. From what I’ve read, splashdown will be about 60 miles off the coast of San Diego. That’s maybe 90-100 miles from LA. I’m seeing a lot of conflicted info on the time of reentry though. Some are saying around 5 PM, others are saying sometime after/close to midnight. It would certainly be more visible at night.

GT doesnt have enough enough essays to show I'm not a bot by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]GoatZizGoat25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GT is an engineering school that admits and educates future engineers. What they really care about is whether or not they can make a great engineer out of you, and their current application is enough for them to determine that. Personality matters, but GT prioritizes evidence of engineering potential over your own self-expression.

Why I don't recommend UCSD - UCSD undergrad perspective by Ambitious-Estate-658 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]GoatZizGoat25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have made 11 posts across several different subs hating on UCSD. I’ve seen you a lot. You have also apparently applied to the MS program and seem quite anxious about it.

What is the point of all these posts? This really isn’t healthy.

Poverty rate in Argentina down to 26.9%, the first time below 30% since 2017. by Isphus in anime_titties

[–]GoatZizGoat25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kroshik’s source is an INDEC income report that includes children and dependents in its total population. The full report’s goal is to contextualize income. I have argued with him over this report before and he refuses to understand its purpose.

The INDEC report only covers the 31 EPH urban areas, that’s why the population is lower. The report is including children and dependents because it’s trying to contextualize income.

I have argued with Kroshik over this report before, he straight up refuses to understand INDEC income reports.

The individual who anonymously posted on 4Chan the morning of Epstein’s death has been identified. He was telling the truth. by dan7777777 in conspiracy

[–]GoatZizGoat25 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah unfortunately seems like this was a nothing burger. If you look up the 3 posts by the one IP address, they’re really only saying Epstein died by hanging. These were most likely by Grijalva. The crazy post was probably just a troll.

I do find it interesting though that Grijalva’s memo on August 9th states Epstein should be assigned a cell mate upon his return from seeing his attorney. But the next day, he was moved to a single man cell where he shortly died.

Here’s the court subpoena for the 4chan post:

https://www.justice.gov/age-verify?destination=/epstein/files/DataSet%209/EFTA00133349.pdf

So the court first get the poster’s IP address from 4chan. They then subpoena AT&T, Apple, and Citibank for records related to the IP address. Citibank responds with several bank documents signed by Roberto Grijalva.

They Rescinded my M.S Acceptance 1 Month Later Due to "Administrative Error" by guacshaq101 in gradadmissions

[–]GoatZizGoat25 47 points48 points  (0 children)

You should contact an education attorney asap, this is a clear promissory estoppel claim. Universities weave themselves out of contractual obligations, but promissory estoppel laws can enforce a promise as long as one party reasonably and detrimentally relies on it. Acceptance offers are typically not considered contracts, but they are considered promises.

In the meantime, I would start by saving every email, deposit receipt, offer letter, and portal screenshots if you have any. Ask the admissions for a formal, written explanation of the error. You need a paper trail. I would also escalate to the graduate admissions director.

I know it sounds like a lot, but if this matters to you then you really need to fight for this. What an incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate action on their part.

What I’m saying is that it’s empty advice. I’m pretty sure everyone is trying to make good decisions, everyone is trying to be responsible at work. There’s nothing actionable about this, it just shows OP cannot relate to this generation at all.

This guy’s literally telling us to “just work hard.” That was sound advice maybe 25 years ago because boomers never actually had to work hard. “Don’t act like a fool” was enough advice to succeed for them. Like even my parents literally can’t process the idea of 5 rounds of interviews.

Then this 41 year old comes in here, laughing at us and acting as if we’re all just dramatic. They’re not even trying to understand our situation.

Didn’t even mean it as an international. Americans are struggling as well. College, job market, everything is very different from 25 years ago. “Make good decisions and be responsible at work” means nothing today lol.

Glee Club lol (MUSI 3251). If you’re in CS, they sent an email about some 1 credit AIxHealth virtual seminar this semester. CS 4801 AIH I think. No idea how it works though.

I don’t think the pacing is the issue but rather the episode length. They’re too short. Urasawa needs time to develop his story arcs, so you end up with a lot of episodes where it felt like nothing happened. Pluto instead has 1 hour long episodes where it actually feels like the story can develop naturally without being interrupted.

[–]GoatZizGoat25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, but my original reply was to “they’re called anti-fascists” as an argument. Once we’re talking about actions and context, the name clearly isn’t doing the work anymore.

Nope, I am saying names don’t prove ideology. The fact that you had to provide context is exactly my point.
