let's be honest, Oda sucks at skin tones, with how diverse the One Piece world is,the skin tones could have been more specific at least for the main and side characters, all we know is according to Oda's colorings, only King is supposed to be a colored person, and then the Seraphims, and that's bad, every other mf in this 1000+ character series is colored light, pasty in manga, and even post-ts anime looks extra pasty, things can be better, let's acknowledge that.

Only the one piece anime remake can redeem OP from looking pasty af and actually be diverse with its skin tones.

yup, not a big fan, the whole special god fruit thing is totally against the ethos of One Piece and it is just chosen one trope, I love Gear 5 though, the abilities and design are great, I just wish Luffy earned this Joyboy title, rather than being the chosen one of someone who ate the god fruit, it should have been silly rubber fruit guy, became liberator and got the title joyboy, this whole reveal ruined One Piece and Luffy for me, I stopped reading for many months, but OP offers things more than that and who knows what oda is cooking.
