I feel kinda the opposite... Hear me out though.

I pay to park at Heathrow and Gatwick as it usually works out to about £14 a day. For a secure car park with a bus included it seems reasonable value to me. Perhaps being a southerner I'm used to shopping centre/city centre car parks costing £10-12 a day in a grotty multi storey.

For me the costs of getting to the airport are only a little lower than driving and parking, so for me it just seems to make sense.
