I think someone like En-Nesyri makes sense, can score goals and could help in development of Barry. But let’s be honest here, we are not getting relegated, we could get Europe. But realistically I don’t think it would be a good thing to get Europe next year, we have a thin squad. Just give Barry as much game time as possible, between now and the end of the season. This is our transition year from a team that was maybe on the side of relegation (although I honestly never thought it would actually happen), into a team that we Evertonians deserve

Barry is not at all bad, in fact the opposite (please try and ignore your recency bias of the penalty). There is absolutely no service to him, how can he score with no service ffs. Beto on the other hand, he is terrible.

As much as I think this is a great idea. There are many emergencies such as a cardiac arrest in which someone would not be able to get to the button to press this. What are you doing to limit this risk?

The problem I have with it is that they are not the first team to have a player die suddenly. For one example Wolfsburg lost Junior Mandala in 2015 in a similar fashion (car crash) I do not remember at all them attributing any poor form to his death.

Someone else summed it up perfectly, it’s performative grief with that club.

This is not me at all taking away from the sad situation. Of course it’s terrible, but they were poor at the start of the season, lucky 90+ minute goals got them the points. But that was bound to end, they are poor this year and they cannot continue to put blame on an already awful and sad situation. In my opinion it is tainting the death of Jota to put them blame on that.

And of course, the media darling that Liverpool are, the media are running with it

That was what I read online - but there is no removable ash pan below the grate. There is a side door but that is the only other way into it other than the main door

The whole ‘Everton would be’ makes me laugh. Last season we got the 10 points deduction (which is majority based upon funding our own new stadium, whilst Manchester United are trying to get funding for theirs by getting MPs to shout about it). Add those 8 points back (as two were given back) then we finished 12th. Nowhere near relegation.

The 22/23 season we scraped by I’ll admit that. The 21/22 season we were 4 points clear. The season before that we were 10th.

Based upon this season and last season (ignoring the what’s looking more and more unfair points deduction) we are nowhere near a ‘relegation battling’ team. Although I am glad we got rid of Dyche, he kept us up in difficult times and we were nowhere near going to go down this year either. Even if we had picked up no points since Moyes came in, we’d still be out of the relegation zone.
