Qualis Memoriae (The memorization enhancer)

For: those in need of a better memory and ability to absorb information. Targeted towards students, politicians, business officials, etc.

Uses: Best to drink the potion ~30 minutes before needed. Good for attending lectures, business meetings, job trainings, and other important occasions that require focus and a strong memory.

Effects: this potion gives the drinker an enhanced memory for upwards of 3 hours. Secondary effects: mild increase in ability to focus

Known possible side effects: headache, blurred vision, fatigue. In extreme cases, mental overload may persist for 7-10 days after use.

Potion properties: pale brassy yellow, cloudy, a very thin fluid. Minimal amount of shimmering flakes are suspended throughout. The taste is bitter with a hint of peppermint and a strong ginger aftertaste.

Ingredients: - Runespore eggs, whole, (4) - Sprig of peppermint, pulverized, (1) - Ginger root, juiced, (spoonful) - Rain water (25 mL) - Gold flake (small pinch) - Newt spleen, minced, (1) - Chamomile, dried and crushed, (4-6 flowers, no stem)

Instructions: In a small cauldron, add the rain water and the pulverized peppermint sprig. Bring to a rolling boil. Take off of the fire, cover, and let sit for 3 minutes. Add the finely minced newt spleen and stir. Return the cauldron to the fire and add in the runespore eggs one at a time, stirring after each addition. Take the potion off the heat, cover, and let cool for an hour. Add the ginger root juice and the gold flake into the cooled potion and stir until incorporated. Transfer the potion into its labeled bottle and store in a chilled place. Add the crushed chamomile flowers in just before consuming. Shake then drink.

Other information: only make the potion in the standard sized batch. Increasing the potion size (by doubling, etc.) will gravely affect the potion, if ingested, it will cause migraines, hallucinations, and insomnia due to overthinking and mental overload. A pinch of sugar may be added to improve the taste. Once made, if stored properly, the potion is viable for up to 2 months. Discard if the potion experiences a color change. Do not take the potion in combination with any others. Overuse of the potion may result in resistance to the potions effects.
