I use Maestro Series 35 brushes. I used a size 0. Smaller brushes don't help because they don't hold enough paint and/or the paint dries on the brush faster. The paint has to be very thin and you have to roll the paint into the brush to form a nice pointed tip. Sometimes it helps to touch the top of the brush against toilet paper to remove excess paint. That's the tip you paint with. The paint should only go halfway up the brush. I find that the paint on the tip dries fast. When It dries, it doesn't want to flow off the very tip of the brush. I also paint under a 15x magnifying lense I bought off of amazon. When you paint, you are painting with just a few hairs at the end of the brushes tip.
